Jennine Estes is a Marriage and Family Therapist in San Diego. At Estes Therapy, there is a team of therapists that provide counseling services day, evening, and on the weekends. Jennine and her team work from a research based approach (EFT) that provides long term change. Jennine is certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. Counseling services for individuals and couples on various issues; such as premarital counseling, communication issues, depression, infidelity, marriage, gay (LGBT) lesbian issues, anxiety, trauma, and more.

History

Established in 2009.

I began my journey to becoming a therapist in 1997, studying General Psychology with a minor in Spanish. While in undergrad, I was an intern both in San Diego and in Bilbao, Spain. I continued my education journey at Alliant International University with a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. The education was focused on all aspects of relationships.

I spent several years working with couples, college students, and teens at various intern sites. In the winter of 2004, I began building my private practice in San Diego. After 3,000+ client contact hours and supervision/​trainings, I passed my licensing exam in 2009.
