three stars seems about right, I checked into the shuttle area and the folks yelled at Moe to wake yup lol… he did, was polite and then wanted to wait for the extra fares that might show up… this I’d the main reason I will stick with über In the future…40 buck with a 5 buck tippy from

Stay away from this company, I had a confirmed reservation for an 8:35 pick-​up to make a 10:20 AM international flight. At 8:45 I called the dispatch number to see where the driver was. The guy who answered the phone sounded like he just woke up with a bad hangover, and didn’t seem to know what was going on either. He told me he would get the driver on the phone and call me right back. 20 minutes later a new driver called me and asked if I still needed a ride and told me he could pick me up in 15 minutes, 25 minutes later I call the driver to see what the heck is going on again. I finally get picked up an hour later than the scheduled time and almost missed my flight. Do yourself a favor and skip right over this company.
This was my first and last experience with these guys.

I reserved a ride for the airport early morning. No one picked me up. When I asked for a refund of my money they didn’t take care of it. I left a voicemail and got a hold of someone and all he said was «no one picked you up»?
Never again. Don’t use this ride!

Terrible customer service. I call these people to make a reservation and immediately off the bat I get an arrogant, pissed off, uneducated low life on the other end. I ended up getting a call from my friend telling me he could take me to the airport instead, so I call back to cancel the reservation. I end up getting the same low life and when I ask for a confirmation that my reservation has been canceled, he mumbles something and says they don’t do confirmations. I call back one more time to get a confirmation and he very quickly says, «OK we will get you something or whatever.» I’d much rather walk to the airport than deal with these people. If you are the shuttle driver I talked to, I hope you read this: you’re a shuttle driver, who in the world do you think you even are?

Booked via their 800#. Wanted to ensure reservation as we were going 45 min North. Agent sounded busy, but Gave me good instructions & I felt assured. Our flight was 30 min delayed. Information desk inside airport sent us to EZ rental. That shuttle takes you to their car lot! We Returned to kiosk with shuttle agents — tell them where you want to go & they find you the best deal. She called EZ & they said they’d be there in15. 30+ min no one showed up. Luckily it was early evening & other shuttles available. Got a good deal with Advanced shuttle — they have a reduced rate if you’re willing to share the ride. Go to

Horrible service. Driver wouldn’t honor $ 57 quote made at reservation, driver said it would be $ 68, then got mad when I told him I was quoted $ 57. Then he couldn’t get dispatch to answer the phone to confirm my reservation number so he wouldn’t honor the $ 57 quote, even though when I showed him the reservation number. He even said, «That’s our reservation number» (a six digit code). He had a REALLY bad, pathetic and horribly zero customer service attitude, I went with another shuttle service (that was $ 55, lol), wasn’t even going to get in the car with him. Will never use or recommend this POOR QUALITY service! BUYER BEWARE! They are scammers who will try to overcharge you! Later I went online and the online quote said $ 57, guy was intentionally trying to overcharge me and take advantage of me.

Beware. We got in after midnight and missed our ride home. We went to the Shuttle area and EZridw was right there. Because we were so tired we did not ask around to compare prices. We were quoted a price when we got on the van and given a higher price when we reached our home. Plus, the driver would only take cash!
We later looked up the price, online, and realized we were overcharged about $ 20, which I am sure the driver pocketed. We will never use them again.

Great service. The driver was early and very friendly. I definitely be using them again.

Rider beware! Do NOT use these guys. Never got a ride in their supposedly beautiful eco buses! I booked a return trip from San Diego airport with them last month and luckily opted to pay in cash when they picked me up (rather than paying first by credit card). I arrived late at night in San Diego (10 pm) and made my way to the shuttle bus. I told the driver that I had a reservation with him. He didn’t even check his list and merely asked me where my hotel was. I told him and he disinterestedly told me to use another shuttle bus company (Advanced Shuttle) because they were going the same way as my hotel. As I was tired and he was clearly not interested in taking me to my hotel, I agreed to follow Advanced Shuttle (which, by the way, was a great shuttle service).
My main gripe with EZ Ride shuttle was the shuttle ride going back to the airport from my hotel. This was around 10 am in the morning. The shuttle never came and after being 25 minutes late, I called the company phone line as well as the emergency number provided on my reservation receipt. I rang both numbers until they rang out and I left numerous voicemails asking them where they were. Worse, I never got a call back from any one in the company.
As soon as it was clear that no one was going to pick me up and there was probably no one at the office (at 10am on a weekday), I had no choice but to call for a cab. Best decision ever. It only cost me $ 12 from Little Italy to get to the San Diego airport — $ 2 more than a shuttle ride! The cab driver was friendly, efficient and got me to where I needed to be in time. Thanks Mr Cab Driver! I can’t remember his name otherwise I would mention him here.
All in all, do not go with EZ Shuttle. You are better off going with Advanced Shuttle (who have drivers that work at least) or catching a cab if you are going anywhere downtown from the airport.

I get that car trouble can be unpredictable, but there should always be a backup plan especially when customers have an early morning flight.
This morning at 3:30 I received a call that they would be unable to pick me up because of a disabled vehicle, and it’s a pretty busy morning so they wouldn’t be able to get me until 5:15 for a 6:30 flight.
MAJOR inconvenience, luckily I was able to use Lyft. If that wasn’t available it would have been a very expensive cab ride. My failure was to not have a back up plan because I didn’t think I would need one with a «professional» company whose main purpose is to take people to and from their destination.
Never again.

They really need to change the lady that answear the phone to make the reservation!!!
She is rude and full of attitude… and I was tryng to help her with the spelling. of the street… she was bitching about that too!

After reading the reviews for this service I was very worried about making a reservation. I made reservations 2 days in advance online to be picked up from our apartment and taken to the airport. The driver called the night before to confirm the pickup time at 5:30am. The next morning he called to let me know when he was almost at the apartment. When the driver arrived he took our bags and opened the doors for us. I really appreciated the amazing customer service!
We also used the service to get home from the airport. Our airplane landed a bit early and our scheduled pickup time wasn’t until 8:45pm…about 1 and a half hours after our plane landed. I called the customer service number and told the lady our issue. She let me know that shuttles were already outside and if I talked to a driver, they would be able to take us home early. We walked outside and the driver was happy to help!
Overall our experience was great! I would highly recommend this service!

Was very pleased with the service i received from this company. I booked a couple weeks in advance to be picked up in CV and taken to SD airport. We were a group of 10 traveling all together and we all fit in 1 van with all our luggage! Jimmy who was our driver both there and back was on time, professional and courteous. I would defiantly use them again and request Jimmy as my driver.

The worse experience I have ever had! Make reservation online few days ahead. Comfirmed twice in few days. Landed and no Shuttle, no one answers phone, and kiosk said they are not coming! 11:40pm at airport and look stupid and helpless! No no no to ezride!

Driver just tried to run me off the road on my way to work. Van #930. Don’t think I’d ever book a company that drives like that.

Booked them for a round trip from Encinitas to San Diego airport. Neither leg went well.
On departing trip, the driver was 15 minutes late. I called him, and he was lost. He had not called me, and how can anybody get lost with gps maps these days? Google maps, apple maps, and the garmin maps from 8 years ago in my car get one nicely to my house. We then left for the airport, and halfway there the driver announced he was about to run out of gas, which was true. We went down 805 to Miramar Rd., then several miles inland to a compressed natural gas station as shuttle was a CNG shuttle. This excursion took another 20 min or so. We got to the gate dangerously close to final boarding call.
On return trip, we called them the day before to remind them of our return flight number. They said they had it, there was no need to call when we landed, and that they would be waiting in the dispatch lot near the airport, and all we had to do was arrive at the shuttle pickup location. When we arrived, the shuttle dispatch had no idea, and said there were not EZ Ride shuttles in the area. We called EZ ride, and they said «it is summer, and we are very busy, you will just have to wait». They then said it would be 10 minutes. Meanwhile, Supershuttle, and at least one other company offered to take us, but we had already paid, so we waited. 30 minutes later, a shuttle showed up.
I won’t be using these guys ever again.

worst shuttle company ever! Bad attitude. We have made reservations and they didn’t even show up! We called and the woman hanged our phone before we got speak!

Horrible! They used to be good. We called to get a shuttle from MCRD to the airport at 530am, we were told they didn’t run that early– even though we used them a few months prior at that time. Ok– so they changed their hours.
This week I called to book a shuttle on Friday at 11. I was told to call back on Thursday because they don’t book out more then 24 hrs prior. Ok– so I call Thursday afternoon (you can see where this is going huh), I get told he’s out of the office, and to call Friday morning– «it shouldn’t be a problem». So I drop my family off at the USO, and ask the driver if/​when he can pick me up from MCRD where it was going to park my truck. He said I had to call the operator and boom it. So I call the operator again– and I’m told he’s out of the office and to call the driver. Idiots! I just caught a cab.
Last year, this shuttle was spot on, on time, courteous… Now they are rude, incompetent and lazy. Don’t waste your time.

I had previously arranged a shuttle from the airport with another company, but they had stopped their service by the time I got to the airport, so I took a Sea Breeze shuttle. The price was almost double the other company’s but since the other company wasn’t available, this was my option. Julio Diaz was my driver and he was great. Very friendly and courteous and got me home safely. I’m giving 3 stars because of the price, but Julio’s customer service was excellent.

Just for making a reservation. Called just a few minutes ago to make a reservation to San Diego Airport. Very friendly. Will see if their actual service is good as well!!!
