Factory Match Bumper Repair

This guy is a total crook and scammer. Got my car back and holy sh$t…the inside was totally trashed (food, garbage, etc), items were stolen and had a large deep scratch in the rear bumper. The very bumper I wanted repaired. Obviously my vehicle was taken for a joy ride and repair work was half done (no clear coat). I have talked with several others and they have experienced the same thing. My recommendation is stay away, pay a few more dollars and get quality work done somewhere else.

This guys a swindler and a liar. Went to him 3 times and was bubbly and did not match. It says he guarantee his work. But, his work is guaranteed crap. Dont go here will only cause headaches and a horrible experience. I gave him chances to correct his mistakes but, my cars in worst shape now. If u want cheap crappy work tgen go here. Could not select no stars do theres one by default.

I brought one of my vehicles to Factory Match and I have to say these guys were very easy to work with. Steven and John do excellent work and are always willing to work with you. Keep up the good work guys!

I got an estimate for dent in my quarter panel. Factory Match charged me $ 1000 when it was finished.
That’s a lot cheaper than what the dealer wanted me to pay!

This is the place to go if you want to get your car painted or bumper repaired because I came and got my car hooked up and it was at a reasonable price.

Incredibly disappointed. The prices seemed too good to be true, and they were. This has to be the worst paint job I have ever seen on a car, and now it’s on mine! My car is literally in worse shape now than before I dropped it off. Additionally, I was forced to return multiple times because pieces were missing from my vehicle. Since I am on a budget, I had to go to the junkyard to find replacement parts. The overspray, missing spots, and bubbling, cracking, and fisheye, and orange peel was very visible. Apparently this place is hit or miss, and some people were a lot luckier than me. I was told the job would take 3 days, and it took over 6 weeks. On top of that, I was told a time a date it would be ready and whenever I showed up, I would be told that it would be ready the next day or at the end of the week. This happened at least a dozen times.
You are better off going to Vegas and betting it all on black. Heck, chances of winning the Powerball are better than your odds of getting quality work from here.
Go somewhere that is actually reputable and has warranties or guarantees.

I’ve been a Unilocal member since 2007 but have never been compelled to write a review until now. Stephen and his brother John are absolutely awesome at what they do in terms of making you feel comfortable with the process and thrilled with the results. My finance’s Infinti was rear-​ended in a hit & run 2 weeks after we purchased it and the damage wasn’t substantial enough to file an insurance claim but enough of an eye sore for it to be fixed immediately. Factory Match took care of us in a big way and we couldn’t be any happier with the results. Just call ahead of time to get the new address as they moved to a different location a few minutes away from the address listed here.

Wow!!! These guys are awesome! Great prices, excellent work, and Steven fixed several scratches at no charge. My car looks amazing. I asked for a mobile quote and Steven was at my house the very next morning. I accepted the quote and said I’d like to get started right away. He came back and picked the car up a few hours later. This place deserves 10 stars.

john is the man, i let him fix my 4runner’s bumper dropped it of wednesday afternoon and picked it up the next day, my car looks brand new again. guys amazing.

John did a great job on my bmw he did it same day for for only 450 for the dent on my bumper. Johns the man!

I am very pleased with the work ethic and results, so far, from John and his team. I have a large limo that needed a lot of rust removed. He is almost done with the work and should complete it in the next few days. So far, I’m excited in the direction we are moving with the repair. I’ll update and post photos before and after once the repairs are complete.

I called John yesterday to ask for an estimate for a bumper repair on my 2004 BMW. He told me I could bring my car in before work today (make sure you get the address from him because he has moved to 29^th Street). Anyway, I took my car in and he gave me an estimate that matched another estimate that I was given but the other guy couldn’t do the job till Friday. John said he could do it this morning so I left it with him. Actually he was kind enough to have one of his guys ride with me while I drove to work downtown and then he drove the car back to the shop. They called me several hours later to tell me the car was done and the young man that rode with me in the morning was on his way to pick me up! Outstanding service! The car looked amazing and wow, what fast service! I highly recommend John to anyone looking for excellent service at a more than reasonable price! You won’t be disappointed!

John was professional and friendly. John would personally answer the phone when called and would give updates of the progress of work being done. I will go back to him for future work needed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Called Factory Match Bumper repair and John, came to give me a free quote the next day. I was impressed with his quote, because other fancier places are more expensive.
He took the car at 1pm and had it back by 3:30 pm. He still needs to sand and polish it, but he will get that done next week.

After finding a decent dent with paint scratched off my car doors Saturday morning, I turned to Unilocal for help. Reviews turned me to Factory Match. John was fast to respond, setting up a time to give me a free quote, and coming through on a Sunday morning!
I decided to work with him, and wasn’t disappointed! His team took care of my car, with a paint job to rival the maker, in a matter of 2 hours. They’ll be coming back next week to buff and polish.
You can tell work was done, but definitely not immediately obvious, and so much better than you could expect from a mobile shop! I’d say this is full service speedy excellence that you can’t get through a body shop. Thanks for saving my car and paint from any further damage :)

I had a deep scratch on the rear bumper of my Elantra that was bad and getting worse. There was peeling around it. After a visit from these guys (came to my house), you wouldn’t even be able to tell it was ever there. Fast, friendly, and funny guy. I highly recommend!

John is an honest, hard-​working man with an exquisite knowledge of cars — and true to his word, can make them look factory new again.
I was referred to John after getting a new set of tires. I asked the mechanic about getting some body work done to my 08 Civic. There were a lot of scratches, bumper dents, and even part of the rear mud flap ripped off. Wear and tear from five years of driving in LA.
While a less scrupulous body shop would’ve charged me to replace the whole bumper, John was able to fill in the spots exactly as he promised. All for an extremely reasonable price, so much so he asked me not to repeat it! (It really was.)
John truly went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. Even going as far as to tell me to come back any time. (He offered to do another polish, I haven’t taken him up on it because my car is already so clean!)

My baby (2012 black Ford Mustang) hit a suitcase on the fwy and damaged my front bumper. pretty sizeable dent. Saw there were great reviews for here, and gave it a try. John was very quick, prompt, courteous and professional. Fixed my bumper basically back to new, popped the dent out, polished it, and tightened the screws to make sure it won’t be loose. Looks pretty much brand new. Absolutely an amazing job, and for real cheap too. It would have cost at least double at any other shop. I highly recommend John to anyone who needs their bumpers repaired.

I recommend John at Factory Match san diego bumper repair! I had a gouge in my plastic truck bumper and I was quoted almost A GRAND by other body places. I was a little reluctant at first because I have a newer expensive truck and have never had a mobile car repair job done. But I was quickly set to ease when I watched John start to work. You can clearly see he has years of experience. He isnt afraid to tell you everything he is doing and and why he does it too. Since he has worked on my car I literally have told all of my friends that they need to have John do the work. Check him out for yourself!

John was amazing. Very fast, efficient, and cool. Called in on a friday night, and was made an apointment the tomorrow afternoon. He made ot looked brand new, and even fixed a chipped painting free of charge. For 2 hours of his time, he fixed the front fender/​bumper that looked like new. Highly recommended.
If you are trying to find him, he lives in a neighborhood. Take the I-​15 south exit, ocean boulevard. Take a right and an immediate left onto 33^rd street. His house is only a couple houses down at 532 33^rd street. He fixes your car right behind his house at 534 33^rd street, and does an amazing job.
