Words can’t express what Lori means to our family. She helped us conceive our 2^nd child. We had been trying for our 2^nd for over a year and since I was 41, I met with an infertility specialist. I really did NOT want to do IVF until I exhausted all other possibilities. I did ALOT of research and kept reading about the benefits of acupuncture, supplements and Chinese herbs. I was referred to Lori, and even though I was initially skeptical, I decided to give it a try. It was the best decision I ever made. She has an amazing sense of touch and is so passionate about what she does. Everything Lori told me proved true. She had me commit to a 3 month plan (weekly treatments and a series of herbs/​supplements) and by the end of the 3^rd month, I was pregnant!!! She reduced my stress levels and most importantly, she gave me hope and encouraged me every step of the way. Every week, I found myself looking forward to my appointment. I’ve been seeing Lori for years. She is professional, calm & supportive. I originally went to see her for infertility. 2 friends had recommended her and had successful pregnancies after long battles with infertility. I had not done acupuncture before but the data surrounding it was worthy of adding it to my régime. I was not able to get pregnant after several attempts and switching doctors but Lori was there to support me the entire time. She also gave me the referral to switch my infertility specialist. What an amazing experience! I am recovering from a herniated disk in my lower back, and after months of pain and slooooowwwww recovery, I turned to acupuncture as an alternative to regular physical therapy. I am SO glad my mom pointed me in Lori’s direction. Although I was nervous about trying an «alternative» method, Lori’s calm demeanor and warm professionalism put me at ease. After four visits in two weeks, I noticed a significant difference, and I credit Lori with helping to get me over the hump of my recovery. With a five month old at home, I am so happy to be well on my way to healed. UPDATE:
I recently had to avail myself of Lori’s services again after a second pregnancy and back pain when my new daughter was about seven months old. Lori, always such a comforting presence, squeezed me in for appointments since she knew I was only in town for a short time. She really helped me once again, and I am so grateful for her awesome skills and compassionate bedside manner. Thanks to her, I am once again on my way to recovery, and hopefully will not reinjure in the future. But if I do, I know she’ll be there for me! Thanks, Lori!
