First of just let me say this Church is AWESOME! My husband and I are staying here in OB on a temporary basis. We are originally from Tennessee. Although we kind of feel out of sorts with such a new environment, OB1 has been a blessing. It is a pleasure to take part in the church activies and meetings. The pastor Joe, is awesome! He pretty much tells it how it is and challenges you with every sermon. The people at OB1 are inviting and real. The worship band is AMAZING! Its like a personal concert every Sunday! And hey there is always free coffee and donuts! :) When we do go back to Tennessee eventually, this church will definatly be one of the hardest things to leave!!!

The name is awesome, yes (OB1) but what sets this church apart from others is how REAL it is. No prosperity gospel here, no pat on the back, «congratulations on being a Christian» talk. The sermons will challenge you to grow. The people will welcome you into the family, no matter who you are and what your story is. Bring on the painful questions, leave the façade behind — this church is willing to deal with real things and be a safe place to get closer to God and let Him change your life.
