What a Thanksgiving Day brunch/buffet surprise! Food was great with all the traditional fare and more. The buffet was spread out through a hallway so there was no crowding. Unlimited champagne and mimosas. The staff was courteous and eager to please. Kinda a hidden gem. Will definitely come back next year!

My experience here is with the breakfast buffet. The offerings were the usual but also included made to order omelettes, and a drink. The staff made sure to change out the selections so that the food remained hot and fresh. There was a variety of foods to choose from such as muffins, croissants, eggs, waffles, oatmeal and pancakes. The fountain and surroundings made for a pleasant dining experience. I really enjoyed the buffet and especially not having to trek across San Diego for what could be found in my hotel. My only request would be that they add turkey or chicken sausage, bacon, etc. to the buffet for meat alternatives.

Inside the Doubletree Mission Valley, this is a decent choice for breakfast. I had an egg white frittata and potatoes. It was hearty and filling and the service was good. No complaints here.

They rip you off for OK food. A side of «turkey sausage» is listed for $ 4.50, but we were charged $ 5 for two pinky-sized links of Peppridge Farms-type link sausage — definitely not worth $ 2.50 a link! I ordered pancakes and was asked, «would you like sausage or bacon?» The tone made me think it was included. I didn’t even feel like eating either, but I picked bacon because I figured my beau would eat it. They charged us $ 4.50 for three strips of bacon!!! Would you pay over a buck for one strip of bacon? I doubt it.

Came here and had the breakfast Chilaquiles. Wow they were really good. It came with a side of black beans and was served with two eggs your choice. The portions here are very large and so are the prices(in comparison). If you come here to enjoy some tasty breakfast, bring a large appetite and at least $ 20 per person.

The Fountain Café is located in the DoubleTree Hotel in SanDiego Mission Valley. It has a nice(man, I am stuck on «nice» right now) décor, sort of a Mediterranean open air look. It is very quiet and does not seem overly busy other than breakfast. They do not offer an extensive menu. I selected the«Duke,» a bacon cheeseburger that the waiter said is the most popular item on the menu. Our group sampled the salads which looked fresh and of couse the burger — very tasty… A quiet, «nice» place if you are in the hotel and have some business to discuss over lunch in a pleasant atmopsphere.
