Business Owner

After settling in San Diego in 2007, Frances, born in Germany, has dedicated her passion to the Hairstyling industry.

Getting her first hands-​on-​clients at «SayLula» with Lisa, she moved shortly after, to the «Walk-​in-​Salon» to be trained by Paul Mitchell’s global artistic directors, Robert Cromeans and Stephanie Kocielsky.

Frances learned quickly to build a steady clientel who apreciates her just as much as she appreciates them.

Her passion and taste for modern design led her to Evian Salon and Day Spa in 2011.

Frances is very focused and makes constant education one of her top priorities. Some of her accomplishments have been certifications from The Vidal Sassoon Academy in San Francisco and Santa Monica.

You will feel home immediately when you meet her, she carries a constant smile and shows her love for this profession openly.

Frances is very knowledgable, professional and fun to work with and will go above and beyond to make your experience even more fabulous

Amazingly talented stylist!
I was referred to Frances about two years ago and have been going to her ever since. She has great scissor and clipper skills, but the reason I keep going back is that she actually cares about your hair – not just that day’s cut, but the day-​to-​day look AND function. She’ll remember the way your hair grows and how it moves, and then give you a style that works specifically with you instead of some cookie-​cutter look.
If you’re in a rut with your current stylist or want something crafted just for you, you need to to go see Frances.

Frances is great! I have been going to see her for about 5 months now. The service in as good as it gets. I am in a business where customer service is the most important part of my job and I expect more from people in any service industry. Frances goes above and beyond and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Whether you are right around the corner or miles away take the time to go visit her. The trip will be worth it!

Nothing to say but Top Notch! Frances has been styling my hair for over 2 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. She has a unique style and sets herself apart from the rest with her personality, special treatment, amazing styling techniques and her patented scalp massages. Frances is simply a pleasure to work with. She has the best way of turning your head into artwork. She truly is an artist! Her quirky and fun personality makes it easy to spend the afternoon in her chair. She treats you like royalty. I’ve been going to Frances for just a little over two years now, and even followed her to Evian from another salon. I always have high expectations and she meets them every time. My mom was in town a few days ago and I took her to see Frances to freshen her color and even my mom is a huge fan. Way to go Frances, and the entire team at Evian!!!

Frances has a knack for just taking a look at you and knowing what the next step should be so even if you’re ready for a new cut but aren’t sure what you want to do, she’ll definitely help you out with an honest opinion. After I see her, I always get tons of compliments on my new ‘do. She’s the best!
