Robert did an awesome job at our son’s 7^th bday a week ago! I confirmed with Jason a few times that the party was all set and all my questions were answered/​emails & calls returned promptly. Robert was prompt to party with the game truck, very knowledgeable and helpful with all equipment, and made sure all boys (18 of them) were sharing equipment. Every boy got to play the game they wanted and all were engaged having a great time! The Game Truck was clean and a/​c so very comfortable inside. I’d definitely hire Game Truck in the future for any parties, as they did a fantastic job!

We booked the party for my son’s 10^th birthday. Everyone loved it! Booking with Jason was easy. Robert was friendly on-​time, courteous, and did a great job with the kids. I really appreciated how I was able to go on the truck first and let them know which games I didn’t want the boys playing. I will definitely book again!

Robert is friendly, on time, professional & courteous. He went the extra mile to help the kids with any questions or game setup. He also helped the littler kids get setup with easier games and even had some individual hand held games available for some of the younger kids who weren’t quite ready for team game play. All the kids were content and happy when I would peek in to check on them.

The kids loved it! We are definitely booking them again. The truck was nice and big. The guy came on time and was very helpful (for what I heard from the kids) the price is somewhat reasonable, considering supply and demand. The only reason why I gave a 4 was because I do not approve of games like «call of duty» period its a personal thing. I had to ask more than once to please be removed. The guy also made a comment about «sensitive» parents. I don’t believe he was trying to be rude he was just a little unprofessional. Other than that it was great and I would still recommend and book again.

We used GameTruck for my son’s 6^th birthday party and Robert was our game coach. First off, the truck was very clean and the AC worked really well in the hot heat. There were 22 kids at the party and they all fit in the truck at the same time. Robert did a great job making sure everyone took turns playing and that the birthday boy was taken care of. Everyone at the party was impressed how great Robert was and how much all the kids enjoyed it! Would definitely book them again!

My son and his guests had a really great time. Robert was courteous, knowledgeable and a good sport. My son was concerned that the coach might be «cheesy», but he was super cool and chill. ;-)

Booked for our 10 year old birthday party and it kept all the boys entertained. Booking was easy with Jason, online invites were an added plus! Robert, our game tech, was awesome and arrived early. Would definitely recommend and use again!!!

Our organization plans a yearly father-​daughter event for teen girls and their dads. This year, we did a laser tag game with Jason and his crew and it was amazing! The girls (age 13) and the dads all LOVED it. The girls and dads always like their event, because they get to spend special time together, but this year was hands-​down the best event we’ve experienced so far. Everyone really had a ton of fun. One of the dads mentioned that he hasn’t been to an event in the last couple of years where all the girls leave their phones in a pile on the table because they’re having too much fun playing to mess with them. Plus, it was a beautiful, sunny day and it was great to be outside to enjoy it. Both dads and kids were happy and tired at the end of the party — just what you want!

My stepson and his friends had a great time! I loved that they could play games together as a group. No kids were left out.
The host was awesome and was very knowledgeable about the games and helped the kids.

We booked Game Truck for my 8-year-old’s birthday party, and had a wonderful experience. Booking was easy – the team was courteous and professional and had plenty of times to choose from on the date I wanted. When I had to change the date of the party a week later, the team helped me out and I had absolutely no problem booking the time I wanted.
Jason sent confirmation emails in advance and I received a confirmation phone call a couple days before the party as well as a phone call from them as they were on their way to my house. When they arrived, we were easily able to work out a suitable parking situation (despite the fact that a neighbor decided to park in front of my house that morning). My son was excited to pick out the first four games to get everyone started. The kids had such a great time during the two hours we had the truck! They were entertained the entire time, and they were able to enjoy the air conditioned area in the truck, which was nice because it was really hot that day! Plus, I love that they were supervised at all times and the game coach was very helpful.
This was a perfect birthday party experience: the team was very professional and helpful, the truck came to our house, this kept the kids from running in and out of the house, children were supervised at all times, and there were games for all age ranges. I would absolutely recommend Game Truck Party to anyone, and in fact, I did recommend them to a couple of parents who asked about it during the party!

This whole experience was absolutely wonderful. Everything went smooth. The kids loved the truck. Everyone had a great time. Best party we have had yet. The parents even got to enjoy a little quiet time while the kids played. Robert our game coach was great with everyone. I would highly recommend getting the game truck for your next party event!!!

We just had our school party yesterday. 78 kids, 2 trucks, 3 hours. Everything went amazing. Not one complaint from a kid or parent. Just smiles and laughter. Gametruck was flexible, on time, friendly, I can’t say enough good things. They handled our crazy rotation schedule of kids and gave individual attention to the kids that needed it. We are already planning our next event with them.

This is a must do for boys birthday party. My son turned 9 and had mostly 9 year olds at the party as well as a few older kids up to 14 years old. Every kid loved it and they are still talking about it the next day. They are all talking about how they are going to do it for their party (even the older ones).
Jason the manager is very professional. He was very flexible when booking the party giving me suggestions when I asked for them. He called me the day before the party to confirm and then 15 mins before arrival to confirm again.
He knows how to manage a bunch of crazy boys with laser guns. Thank you Jason! It was a huge hit!

Great way for my son to celebrate his 11^th. Way to go! … And thanks for meeting at an unconventional location like a beach parking lot. It made the party flow seamlessly.

Since this review we have had game truck out a few more times (we have 2 gamer boys) and have had great service. Our latest was this weekend and once again, another successful party. Jason kept in touch prior to the party and was able to obtain a new game my son had specifically requested. The kids had a blast and are already planning the next birthday. Looking forward to trying out the laser tag as well!

Game Truck was great! We brought them out for Laser Tag in our Outdoor Quad at UCSD. This is an excellent activity for Welcome Weeks, Large Scale programs, and definitely fun for College Students. You are able to play 6 people on a team at a time, so 12 people total playing at once. If you want more people playing at a time (which I would recommend) ask them about getting two trucks to come out. They will work with you on the price.
We worked a lot with Jason Katz and his team. They were very professional, brought everything they needed and helped us set up a super successful event. I would ask for him if I were calling.

We set up a laser tag event at a large hotel in San Diego for the Little People of America Conference. The participants were between the ages of 10 – 19, and of differing abilities. From the time we scheduled the event until it was over everything was handled in a professional and reliable fashion. Every single kid left the laser tag ball room with a giant smile on their face. Jason and Bo did an exceptional job of addressing every need, even for kids who were bound to walkers. They arrived an hour early to set up and were a pleasure to work with. They even stayed a little after the time to make sure every kid was able to go through. We had in excess of 100 kids play laser tag that day. I highly recommend this company.

I booked an outdoor laser tag party for my eight year old’s birthday. I was reluctant at first because I had never seen outdoor laser tag before but I was not interested in sharing a venue or having the kids play with older, more experienced players, making their experience sub par, so I went ahead and booked the party with GameTruck.
The event manager, Jason (and Bo) arrived an hour before the start time for set up. They were great with the kids and kept them completely occupied for 2 hours.
My eight year old thanked me and told me it was his best birthday ever and asked if he could do the same thing next year. I also got comments from two of the other kids telling me it was the best birthday party they had ever been to!
Thanks for a great party! I would highly recommend the outdoor laser tag party for any age-​group! If you can find a location with natural cover to work into the course, it only makes the experience better.

The organization I am part of, ICRA, rented from GameTruck to host a laser tag event on the University of California, San Diego campus.
GameTruck was extremely compliant and flexible. They arrived approximately 1.5 hours before the event to set up and discussed ways to make the event as fun as possible. Due to liability concerns, we couldn’t use all of the different terrain.
During our three hour event, students from all over campus came to sign up for games and they all had a blast. One thing I like about their Laser Tag are the laser guns — «fully automatic» with a red dot scope, the game felt way more realistic. The accuracy is near 5000% too, with targets only on the gun and the head (head strap).
GameTruck offered us two modes of play: team elimination and respawn, 6 vs 6. We only played the respawn method, where players had to press a button before being able to get back to the game.
After the event, the GameTruck staff took some time to play a short game with our organization’s staff!
With GameTruck, Laser Tag can definitely be an event for both adults and children.

Coolest party ever! We booked the new duo package, laser tag & Game truck combo for my 9 year old’s birthday party. Started with the laser tag, and not only did the kids (boys & girls) LOVE it, but a couple of the dads did too. Equipment was new and super cool, kids had a blast running around tagging each other. Finished off the party with the game truck, perfect for relaxing and winding down. All the instructors/​gaming staff were super knowledgeable, friendly and cool. For mom, it was the easiest party I’d ever thrown, hands down! Loved it.
