I really enjoy Dr Palmes’ systematic approach to chiropractic care.
My awareness of my body and my potential to become a stronger athlete have increased immensely. With Dr Palmes’ help, I am no longer limited by my weak points and have been able to test myself and heal better than I ever have before
His care plan is to correct and let go lightly, meaning he provides a thorough explanation and a mutual plan of action, without any open-​ended, «see me once a month, forever”-type proposals.
The homework and guidance he has given me allow me to keep my level of activity high. While recovering from injury, I don’t feel like I am limited from doing the things I love, at least at an intensity that is suitable for proper recovery. He encourages normal activity and has never told me to stop moving.
As a fitness professional and an athlete, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Palmes. He gives great advice on how to work through injury, demonstrates how your body is functioning and how he is adjusting and correcting things, and is genuinely committed to helping you achieve healthier movement patterns.

Dr. Palmes is amazing. I met him through my boyfriend. I had a pinching pain on my right hip & I was limping for a week previously when I met him. He was very genuine, informative, & professional. My boyfriend & I felt very assured because of the amount of integrity Dr. Palmes showed. He adjusted me as soon as he looked at my X-​rays to make sure he knew exactly what was going on. Although we weren’t scheduled for an adjustment, he couldn’t stand to see/​let me step out of his office in my current condition. I guess I looked like I hated my life that much, lol!
I immediately was able to walk without a limp & no pain. I was sold, he had my complete trust! I’ve also had lower back pain for 4 years, I ignored it until things got this bad. I’m a hairstylist, makeup artist, & I run a restaurant so I’m on my feet a lot! Sometimes, 8 hours straight on heels followed by 4 hours of running around in tennis shoes at the restaurant! On top of that, I like to do a lot of heavy lifting at the gym.
I’ve been seeing him 3x a week for almost a month now. Thanks to him, I can now fall into a deeper sleep, I wake up earlier, more energetic, less cranky, & I’m able to perform optimally. He knows what he’s doing & it shows. I feel stronger at the gym & it’s an awesome feeling. I highly recommend him to anyone. He’s quick & to the point.

Dr. Palmes is a very skilled and down to earth chiropractor. I have been to many other chiropractors but none of them made me feel as comfortable as Dr. Palmes. Dr. Palmes is a consummate professional and only has his patients best interests in mind. In other words, you always feel as if his care plans are based upon exactly what you need to live a health, more pain-​free life. One thing to keep in mind: Chronic pain and discomfort take a long time to develop, so don’t expect miracles on the first visit! You have to commit to the treatments and what Dr. Palmes has you do at home too.

Not your typical chiropractor. I’ve always had doubts with chiropractic treatment because in the past, I’ve been adjusted and only received temporary relief. I went to Dr. Palmes on a referral and not only do I feel better, I’ve learned so much! One thing that makes Dr. Palmes stand out as compared to most is that he makes the most out of his time with you, he listens and educates his patients. You don’t just go in there for a quick fix. He is able to identify and explain why something feels a certain way. Granted, patients must hold their end of the bargain and follow through with treatment at home but every follow up visit is more satisfying knowing that he facilitated your path to recovery.

Went to dr. palms for my first chiropractic visit. I’ve had back pain and soreness pretty much my whole life. This guy definitely knows his stuff. He gave me a great adjustment, my back felt great and wasn’t sore any more. I’d recommend going to him to anyone. Super nice guy easy to talk to and very knowledgeable of his field. Now I just need to make it back!

I used to go to Dr. Palmes when he practiced up here in the Bay Area. He always took his time and made sure to address all your concerns. He’s a great chiropractor and very friendly! I was sad to hear that he left. I would definitely recommend him! You would not be disappointed. I am glad he opened up his own practice he deserves it!

This review is specific to Dr. Palmes when he practiced in the Bay Area, which sadly is a loss for us, however, my husband and I wish him all the best in his new practice as he settles in San Diego. That being said, he will be truly missed. His well-​mannered disposition as well as his genuine concern for his patients is one that anyone who goes to him will truly appreciate. You will NOT be disappointed. Do yourself a favor, do your body a favor and go to Dr. Palmes — you won’t regret it.
