History

Established in 2015.

Robert Freeland, the founder of Go Raw, began his raw food journey in 2002 here in San Diego with his first raw product: flax seed crackers. Robert’s tenacity got him into the Ocean Beach Farmer’s Market where his crackers sold out faster than he could make them. While he worked to get his products certified organic, he received a call from the Whole Foods headquarters. It was the beginning of a lasting partnership as Whole Foods now carries Go Raw products nationwide. In 2005, Robert relocated to Northern California to grow his staff and product line. Today, Go Raw has over 40 products and a fresh, new look. As a pioneer in the raw food industry, Go Raw continues to set trends even while taking a more mainstream approach.

In September 2014, Robert visited a local juice bar in downtown San Diego and found Taryn McCracken, a juicing entrepreneur. He proposed a collaboration to launch a nationwide juice bar concept. Two passionate people on a journey to create a brand new concept in
