I feel so comfortable and safe with Kim Goodwin. She’s very knowledgable and I have complete confidence in her.

Wait times to see Dr. Goodwin since 2009 haven’t improved. :/​. Parking is not a problem, so don’t read those old reviews. There is plenty of parking for handicapped in the new building as well.
Dr. Goodwin’s office is in the practice of West Coast OB/​GYN, 7695 Cardinal Court, Suite 240, a few blocks from the old Frost Street location. There are approximately 6 Obstetricians/​Gynecologists who have collaborated in this particular office.
She seemed unchallenged and bored when treating a common problem women experience that requires an antibiotic. The nurse here actually told me I should go to my GP for a common infection, but I prefer a woman gynecologist. I’ve had both male and female doctors, and females are more in tune (of course).
Also, be prepared to spend big bucks. Good insurance is must! Can you say ‘sticker shock’? Seriously.

I’ve been seeing doctor Goodwin for about 5 years now and unfortunately moved up to North County. I seriously debated staying with her and driving down all the way to San Diego for a while just because she is so great. She is very natural, easy-​going and informed. She really listened to all of my concerns and took me very seriously when I described my pain issues recommending an ultrasound. I feel that she knows a lot about the latest developments in the field and makes good notes to remember everything for your next visit. There is a little waiting time even with an appointment, but that’s something I’ll gladly take to see such a great doctor. She’ll make you feel as comfortable as you can be at the OB/​GYN office. Highly recommend her and wish I could continue to see her up here in North County. Great great doctor!

Great doctor. When I got pregnant she was the one that delivered my baby and she did a great job. My baby had the cord around her neck and she reacted really fast.
I would really recommend this doctor to everyone.

Let’s say that my annual exam is not exactly the highlight of my year, but a friend of mine enthusiastically recommended Dr. Goodwin for this honor. I have seen her several times, and I have found her friendly, competent and well-​informed. Today, I noticed a probable baby bump on the lovely doctor, indicating that she may be out on hiatus sometime soon. Rats! She’s a great OB/​GYN…
On the down side, there’s a long lead time to book an appointment, a $ 3 parking fee, and a wait of 15 – 20 minutes. But ya gotta take the bad with the good, right?
