GoWireless Verizon Premium Retailer

Easily the slowest experience I’ve had a Verizon store. If you can, avoid and go to another boutique! I came here for a simple pickup, and I waited for at least an hour! When a guy finally opened up, I went and asked him if I could pick up the item and he said «oh you must’ve ordered through xxxxx, you’ll have to wait for him to finish up first.»
Like what??? Is this 1920 or can’t you look me up in the computer and just give me the item?
I ran out of time so I walked out. Truly an unprofessional and very disappointing experience.

I can’t say enough about the quality of service and products that I recieve from this store as well as (and most importantly) what seems to be a priority for this store to hire employees that are helpful, friendly and smart. I’ve been going to this store specifically for many years now and couldn’t be happier, recommending them to friends whenever possible. My opinion is repeadly reinforced when I have to go to other stores (say, near the 5 in La Jolla) and am made to feel like I’m lucky to be let through the door and should be begging for their infinite knowledge.
Most recently, I upgraded my phone and I recieved the best care yet… can’t say enough about Haley! Once I decided on the phone and we started the paperwork, she went above and beyond… helping with more than a few questions about the phone, my plan, backing info up. Then on her own, she found several coupons and discounts to apply to my account for instore merchandise and additional cost savings. Once the data transfer was done, Haley basically just set up my phone/​emails/​all the basics while I was standing there. Including help with wiping 3 older phones of data so I could safely recycle. I’m sure there’s way more that she helped me with that I’m either not aware of or just forgot… Definitely an asset to this store.

Would never recommend Elmer working in this stores as he does not deserve to be working in any customer service position due to his bad racial attitude and him favoring only white customers instead of being fair and provides such lousy service. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had where Elmer made me wait for 2 hours and 45 minutes and had a nasty racial attitude and favored white people than an Asian and sizes his customers based on their money and business.

I had gone to the Verizon stores at 6.15pm to get a cell phone problem fixed as I had lost all my contacts. Elmer and another associate were helping customers and Elmer said it would be a 30 minute wait at 6.15pm after asking what the issue was and I was behind 2 customers and there were 5 people behind me. He said there is a 10% chance of recovering all my contacts from 7 years and he made me wait 2hrs 45minutes helping other white customers who came in to the store and had a racial bias. In fact, the people behind me in line were already helped by the other sales associate who left the stores and I politely reminded Elmer twice that I am still waiting with the 10% hope of him recovering my contacts since the other agent said he would not be able to do so. Yet, Elmer kept laughing and chit chatting with the previous customer taking his own sweet time (just for one customer, he spent from 6.45pm-8.55pm) and made me wait 2 hour 45 minutes on 19^th October 2015 though the previous customer also suggested Elmer to help me when he had waiting time in between.
Finally, when my turn came at 8.50pm, Elmer left my phone connecting to the back up assistant and helped another White lady who came in to the stores at 8.30pm, half an hour after the store closed and was busy helping her. When I asked him about why he was helping the other customer instead of me, he tried to justify. He spent exactly 2 minutes and said the contacts could not be obtained after 2 hours 45 minutes of waiting from 6.15pm –9.00pm when he could have easily looked it up in 2 minutes as he had been helping other white customers who came in. It’s always a challenge trying to find a store that actually HELPS you and makes your experience enjoyable and walking out satisfied. From the moment I walked into the store Elmer Ramos was nice and easy going to talk with and actually provided excellent customer service. I knew when I walked in there it was going to take a long time to get everything I needed done, but his patience, understanding, and staying on top of things helped to make the process go as quickly and stress free as possible. I told Elmer that I needed a new phone and he helped me from calling Verizon Wireless Reps, to ordering my phone, and went above and beyond by offering to help me out with a wifi hotspot jetpack. He knew that I just spent a bunch of money on a brand new iPhone 6s plus and also understood that I did not have a lot of money to keep shelling out for extra devices. He was nice and offered to let me borrow his jetpack hotspot which was very kind and made me feel like this guy is a really good dude. I will definitely be back to this store and it’s because of the excellent customer service and all around satisfying experience I received from Elmer Ramos.
Thanks a lot bro for helping and being a cool guy.
Also shout out to the manager at this location (white dude with short black hair), he also was a cool guy to talk with and did a great job helping me with getting another sim card for my temporary phone. It seems like this store hires competent, respectful, and helpful employees that go out of their way to make your experience enjoyable.

Would not go back. Too much emphasis place on sales, not giving the consumer what they need. They don’t listen and give misleading partial answers. Then they don’t educate you on how to use the equipment and how to avoid data charges. The 2 star rating is actually too high.

We went in to finally get my dad a smartphone, he has been living in the dark ages. We left with 2 new phones for only the tax on the phone, a cheaper bill, and a cheaper time warner bill as well. The store manager, Brad was incredibly helpful, quick, and offered options to save us money. He is really knowledgable and will go above and beyond for his customers. We will definitely be going back to this store for all our Verizon needs. Thank you!

Needed a new iPhone yesterday so I stopped in and Haley took good care of me. She explained my options, told me how I could get free accessories, and saved me money. I’ve gone to other Verizon stores, but always return to this one because of their good customer service. I would have given them 5 stars, but they didn’t have other colors of the phone I got. Not a big deal, but I thought they should have had more in stock.

Awesome service! I love my phone. It was very easy to get set up and I found the staff to be very personable.

I switched to Verizon from Sprint last week and within a few days the Verizon SIM card I was given stopped working. I spent hours and hours trying to get the problem resolved at multiple Apple Stores, thinking my new phone was the problem. The Apple Store was great in working with me and replaced my new phone twice during the trouble shooting process. We finally determined that the problem was with the SIM card, not the phone, so I went to this GoWireless Verizon retailer across the street. I explained the situation and politely asked if they would replace my defective SIM card (which was only a week old). They told me they could, but would have to charge me $ 10 for it. Obviously, that was unacceptable. After some discussion and involvement from the manager, they still wouldn’t budge. I walked out and went to an actual Verizon store (NOT a GoWireless Verizon retailer) where I was given a new SIM card and really great service. Now my new phone works great! If you can, just avoid this GoWireless place and go to a real Verizon store. There is one not far from here and the quality of service is infinitely better.

Elmer is awesome. Helped us with a billing issue and a phone that was needing to be replaced. Provided us with honest options and let us make the decisions. Matched a price on Amazon for a case. Outstanding customer service. Highly recommend him.

Good service from this store! We were here yesterday working with Aaron, he gave good recommendations for my wife to upgrade her phone. We are quite happy.

I had Verizon Wireless for about 9 years now and out of all the stores I went to, the customer service of this particular one is by far the best. The person that mostly helped me out was Aaron, so major props to him for everything! There was also another employee that helped me out a lot too but I unfortunately don’t remember his name! :/​Anyways, things Aaron and the other employees did that made the whole ordeal of buying a phone go smoothly include:
–Honest advice about which phone to choose. It wasn’t sales pitchy and fake and I appreciate that.
–Professionalism: I asked a LOT of questions, some probably really stupid, and made the staff take out a bunch of stuff to show me and they all did this and answered my questions without any hesitation and actually seemed really eager to help.
-***Above and beyond what I would expect: They (especially Aaron) helped with the little things that are kind of a hassle for me. This list includes rebates, turning in old phones, etc (there’s a lot more that should go here.)
This particular Verizon Wireless store had really amazing customer service and I totally recommend going here. They set the bar high and now I’m expecting this level of service if I have to go to other stores.

Came in here to finally pick up a couple iPhone 6’s. I’ve been on the phone working with multiple reps and reps at this store as well. NO ONE was as great and helpful as my man Elio, the store manager.
Shopping for plans and the best deals for cell phones can be very tricky and confusing with all the different plans, promotions, etc etc. When i came in to pick up my phones, Elio helped me out and saw which plan other Verizon reps worked out with me. He instantly knew a way to save me over $ 300 – 400. WAUW.
Seriously, he was super informative and broke down the route to save me money as no other reps on the phone-​line nor stores were able to. He was super helpful and honestly, who the hell does not want to save money?
Big shout out again to my man for helping (5 stars for him!)

I wrote another review on the Verizon store on Villa La Jolla Drive that explains my experience from this one if you’d prefer a more detailed explanation on what happened but in short, I got a new phone (HTC M8) hear a couple days before my end date. This was back at the end of May but I forgot to write about it. In the process, everything went really smoothly. All my questions were answered and I even changed my plan to the MORE Everything plan at the same time. The whole thing took about 20 – 30 minutes.
Great place and will always come here instead of the other one.

I’ve been coming to this store for years for my Verizon needs and I was very impressed with the good customer service during my last visit. The new staff is very friendly, patient and informative of all the plans and choices for the consumers. Shout out to Zach for helping me add a line and answering all our questions. I will keep coming here even if I move away from the shopping plaza.
