Granite & Marble Concepts

Albert and his team at Granite & Marble Concepts were recommended to us by Chris at Stone Systems (great selection) where we had picked out our Quartz countertops. Albert was very professional when he arrived to provide an estimate. His knowledge and experience were very helpful. He recommended the perfect edge finish (mitered) with a 2 inch edge, rather than the standard 1.5 inch which gives it a much more custom finished look for no or little extra cost. The second visit was for the template to get exact measurements. His team arrived on time and were professional, even removing their shoes. The installation was completed by his team in less than a day and looks great. They were very professional, covered all the floors. The fit and finish is perfect. With careful planning and his experience, Albert, was able to minimize the seams in the layout leaving the only seam at the front and back sink which can not even been seen. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend Albert and his team.

I wish I didn’t have to do this but I have to knock off a couple of stars for their plumber. The countertops are still fabulous — although I believe I should have been provided with care instructions, which I was not, and subsequently cracked my counter using a crock pot. Had no idea I couldn’t use a common kitchen appliance on a kitchen counter. Go figure. Anyway, the plumber SUCKS so if you need any plumbing done in relation to your counter install, I would strongly suggest hiring your own. The plumber used by Granite & Marble Concepts either did not install my kitchen faucet correctly or damaged it when they did demo and then reinstalled. It came loose shortly after it was reinstalled, they came back out and tightened it, and it’s loose again, and didn’t bother to show up for their appointment with me last night to fix it AGAIN, completely screwing up my Sunday. This faucet was only a few months old when I had the counters done and was fine before this project. At this point I’m going to go ahead and get another plumber to come out because I’m sick of dealing with these guys. Not happy I’m going to be out of pocket on cost for something that should have been done right the first time. Not Albert’s fault but he needs to get better, more reliable plumbers.

Albert and his team were great to work with throughout the process, starting with estimating through final cleanup. Albert took the time to review my design sketches and make recommendations on improving the final installation. Pricing, communication, workmanship and customer service were top notch. I would not hesitate to use Granite and Marble Concepts on another project. Thanks Albert!

Albert and his crew installed new Quartz countertops in my kitchen and two bathrooms on Saturday. I am extremely pleased with the results. They are beautiful! I had a previous estimate from Lowes for the kitchen only and Albert did the kitchen and two bathrooms for less money. Albert’s crew Victor, Callett and Angel did a fantastic job on the installation and were very patient with a very nervous homeowner. The seam in the kitchen countertop is virtually invisible. Albert’s plumber even came out on Sunday to hook up the sinks so I didn’t have to do without another day. I couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend Albert and his crew.

While looking around at Granite Slabs for my kitchen counters, one slab yard recommended Albert of Granite & Marble Concepts saying he could do anything. I got quotes from Albert as well as a couple other outfits and my gut told me to go with Albert. My countertop was delivered and installed today and his crew did a fantastic job with every aspect of the installation. Albert came by a couple hours later to double check on the work and watching him you realize how much of a perfectionist he is. I am more than happy with their work, their prices were fair and I’d highly recommend you hiring Granite & Marble Concepts to do your fabrication and installation. Note– They do not have a slab yard but are the ones who will make that slab fit your kitchen or bathroom counter perfectly. 100% Satisfied customer.

It was a pleasure working with Albert and his team, Victor and Calett. They did a beautiful job installing quartz in my kitchen. Albert was professional, explaining the entire process and promptly responding to my questions His team were extremely careful, protecting my floors, always timely, and sincerely caring about their work. Great experience– excellent quality. Found this company on Unilocal and Albert and his team were outstanding. Don’t be concerned with only a few recommendations on Unilocal.From start to finish both my wife and I always knew what to expect. We did three bathrooms and installed yesterday. From first meeting to completion Albert was informative, knowledgable and very easy to work with. He listened, worked with us, provided advice and really glad we went with him. We researched 5 companies in the area and by far, Albert won hands down and was best price. Stop your search and call Albert.

I am rebuilding a «high end» home in Carlsbad and needed a counter top installer that had a high degree of craftsmanship. Albert provided a reasonable quote and delivered outstanding work. He picked up the Quartz slabs, fabricated and installed them with precision and on time. He built a custom desk with leftover material that came out beautiful. Highly recommend his work.

We have just completed a remodel of our Kitchen. Over the years I’ve done extensive work to my home here in Point Loma. Most recently I’ve been so busy at work that I’ve relied on contractors. One area where I didn’t know where to turn was with someone to fabricate my kitchen countertop. The store that sold me the two slabs recommended Albert at Granite and Marble Concepts.
I cannot say enough good things about Albert and his business. I’m very picky about the quality of work on my home, and it’s taken me a long time to find contractors I can trust and delegate work to in a carefree manner. Albert was a pleasure to work with on this project. He had very constructive advice for how we could improve his ability to provide a fantastic finished product.
In the end, we have had numerous compliments from friends who have also had their counters redone. Have you ever looked at a joint between cuts? Or where the line is where the counter top edge is mated with an extended beveled edge? With a poor craftsman you will see a line. Not on my countertop! And the below counter sink was mounted perfectly and fits like a glove. All of the counter is level and the finished product is perfect.
Albert’s workers are clean, professional, and show up on time. The one time his worker was running late, I received a phone call to give me an update that they were running 15 minutes late. They spent the time with me to make sure of what I wanted and they made sure to get it right.
I have no reservations in recommending Albert at Granite and Marble Concepts. My general contractor told me that he plans on using Albert for all of his future work because he was so impressed with his work product and professionalism.

I have known Alberto for a while now. He does real good work and stands behind his product. They do Granite Tiles, Counter Tops and Flooring.
