I have to say that Patrick was very good handling my complex case of a second d.u.i in Orange County. He was very realistic and aggressive preparing my case. He worked w the DA before the final court date and they dropped serious charges and the sentence end up being very reasonable considering all circumstances. I would recommend Pat for any friend, he is a very smart young guy, full of energy that you can tell he loves what he does. He was very good bringing in help from other lawyers in OC, who knew the judge well, and that helped a lot. Good lawyers are not cheap but it will set you apart in court. I am extremely busy and he had a lot of patience with me taking sometimes a little bit long to get back with documents.
I also have to give props to Sandra, who works at the office for being so sweet and helping arranging the best flexible dates for payments and being attentive to detail.

After looking at a couple places I found Griffin on Unilocal.I waited till last minute for my case and Griffin still took it. All the other lawyers I spoke with were mean and rude, telling me I waited too long. Griffin was amazing, took my case and worked with my payment plans. I was stressed free and happy with everything. Sandra the front desk receptionist was so awesome. Took time from her day every time I needed to talk and even took time from her lunch hour to walk me to court. They’re amazing overall, I highly recommend this team! :)

I am so happy that I chose Patrick as my attorney for my domestic violence case. I was honestly so nervous when I was forced to hire an attorney after a HUGE misunderstanding. I met with Patrick the same day I called his office and I immediately felt better, he’s easy to talk to and I didn’t feel judged. So stoked I found Patrick. I met with a few criminal defense attorneys but I felt comfortable with Pat right away. He is easy to talk to and we immediately talked about what might happen and how the case may play out. Turns out everything he said in our consultation turned out to be true. It was a dui (I’ve always been careful about drinking and driving but my bac somehow came back at a .09) I had the choice between a plea but I made the decision to go to trial and am glad I did. Patrick did a great job using all the breath tests together show I was actually under .08. Even though I won’t ever need a dui attorney again I would call Patrick if something happened. Thanks man!

During my search for a legal representative, I discussed my case with three different attorneys. Unlike the first two attorneys I met with, Patrick was very genuine and honest. He wasn’t judgmental and expressed sincere interest in helping me out. The first two attorneys I met with hopelessly approached my case and wanted a large payment up front. That really wasn’t working for me. Patrick on the other hand was very optimistic, assertively explained how we would tackle my case, and even gave me a realistic payment plan option.

Last summer, I fell into a deep pit of trouble. Poor decision making, bad luck, and an unfair treatment from the enforcement department resulted in a case that should have never happened. I looked around desperately for a lawyer who had knowledge, aggressiveness, and tact, to handle my situation. All research and reviews pointed me to Patrick Griffin as the best criminal defense lawyer.
My mother and I came in for a consultation, and doing my due diligence, I knew from the start that Patrick would be able to help us. He analyzed my situation, asked me for the right amount of information needed to proceed with my defense. Over the next two months, he and his secretary would give me regular updates and the possible outcomes on the case.
The proceedings took a bit of time, as per usual for all types of legal cases. He was very patient with me and my many questions and always answered them very quickly and satisfactory. Thanks to Patrick, the case ended up sealed and dismissed from the DA’s office, no records on my drivers license, and even the police arrest record was destroyed. All traces of the case and the incident is now gone, and in a few months my statute of limitation will expire. Needless to say, without Patrick I would be in a whole different world right now.

I used Patrick to get me out of a really unfortunate situation. I was leaving the bar and got blind sided by some random guy that I had never seen before… Well unfortunately for that guy, he ended up in the hospital and because of that and I was the one that ended up in jail. Long story short, I had potential charges against me because the police did not accurately do their job and figure out what happened, when bystanders intervened and really hurt the guy… With that considered even though I had done nothing, they poor guy was really hurt, and I was sitting in potential hot water because of it. Patrick got dropped as if the whole fiasco never happened, by getting security tapes pulled, eye witness accounts from security, and working with the law enforcement to relay the full picture. If you are looking for a good defense attorney, I can assure you that you will NOT find anyone better. Thanks for everything Pat.

Hands down Amazing! Thank you Patrick for everything. I was charged with a felony for a small college prank that escalated and jeopardized my future. Upon hiring Patrick, I was nervous and afraid of the outcome. Needless to say we made a breakthrough and he was able to bring it down to a misdemeanor after a year of low– level probation. However, even after getting the felony reduced to a misdemeanor, I wasn’t able to go through with a internship in financial services. Upon telling Patrick this situation, he confidently proceeded with going through a process where I would be capable of expunging the case as a whole! This process normally can take 3 years and I would have already been graduated by than with no experience due to my situation. Instead, with in little than 3 weeks after the case getting reduced to a misdemeanor, Patrick got me if front of the DA and got my whole case expunged right there! The meeting took no longer than 15 minutes. I was shocked and I cried tears of joy as I saw my

So I got myself into a unfortunate situation involving a weapon. I was charged with Domestic Violence & one other charge that I would rather keep to myself. This is my first offense and I was beyond terrified. I didn’t know who would be a good lawyer to help me with my case & I wasn’t very interested in using Unilocal to find one. But Griffin Law was the first that popped up in my search so I checked it out. He had great reviews and with no knowledge I decided to just give it a shot.
I can’t even begin to express how relieved I am that I gave Patrick a call. He is brilliant and managed to have both of my charges dropped way before I was due in court. It is amazing and I couldn’t believe it, but it is true! There were plenty of other lawyers but I took a look at some online and I had feelings that their interest was just in my money. Patrick doesn’t give that vibe at all, he knows what he is doing and he is good at his job.

Attention veterans and everyone else in need of a formidable attorney to provide back-​up for you in your time of woe, Patrick Griffin is your champion!
We all slip up from time to time, however this time I fell off a damned cliff into this quagmire of refuse and fecal filth that is my current situation. I needed a hand and reached out to Griffin Law for a rescue line to, at the very least, get me out of the muck and onto the shore of shit where I can work my way back out of this DUI.
Mr. Griffin from jump was very forthright and honest from our first meeting. He didn’t embellish anything nor give me false hope like other attorneys were. He gave me a list of scenarios that could happen from best case to worst case and then gave me the likely hood what it is that I’d probably get. For a person like me, I needed someone to tell it like it is and he held nothing back. He took into account that I am a veteran and went to great lengths to garner me favor with the city prosecutor. Thank whatever God may be that this man is a patriot and has a heart of gold and a will of iron. No doubt he would do this for anyone else who comes through his office for his character is unparalleled in this city of sharks that is San Diego, especially when put up against other attorneys.
In the end, he got my sentencing reduced from 9 months in the mind-​numbingly, ridiculous, DUI program, close to a month of community service and an interlock device to just a miraculous 3 month DUI program. He walked me step by step through the entire process and always checked in to see if I was in need of answers. I am getting back on the road in only a months time thanks to him.
So, if you’re reading this cause you need help and want to know if he’s worth it, quit your speculating and setup your consultation with him immediately, you will not regret it.

I was pulled over in San Diego and faced a DUI charge while on vacation in San Diego. As an out of state resident and a first time offender I didn’t have any recommendations for legal services in CA. I had consultations with 4 lawyers and they just didn’t feel right. Somehow I happened upon a good review for Mr. Griffin on
and gave him a try. After the first consultation he responded to my emails with a phone call and a return e-​mail within 2 days. He thoroughly explained the timeline of a DUI /Wet&Reckless case including the DMV portion and all the financial obligations I would have. After I received a reckless driving charge I paid my fines to the DMV and took the DUI course, and thought I was done with everything until I received a warrant for my arrest in the mail. I immediately contacted Mr. Griffin and he responded that night with an email and a phone call, and assured me he would go to the court and get everything straightened out, and he did! That is amazing to me that it was resolved that fast. I would recommend this Law Office, specifically Patrick Griffin for any legal issues you may have. He is a reliable and trustworthy lawyer… (I never thought that I would ever say that about a lawyer), but he is the exception!

So those of you who think that Unilocal reviews are paid for, this one is sure not. I was lawyer shopping, and other lawyers told me what Pat was promising was not «do able», then criticized me for using Unilocal as a means to find a lawyer.
Basically they told me that pat could not get the charges dropped, and that we would have to go through a lengthy process to get the charges dropped. One told me that Unilocal is a great app when you are looking for food, but not when it comes to deciding the rest of your life.
If I wouldn’t have found Pat on Unilocal to help me as my criminal offense attorney, a simple misunderstanding could have turned into something very bad for me.
I don’t want to go into to much detail on what my charges were, but it was something blown out of proportion and I was being told the DA would not drop the case. just know that when you walk into another lawyers office, decorated to the brim with awards and elaborate paintings, and they try to intimate you… this is the time that you need to shift your focus to Patrick

DO NOT CALL ANY OTHER CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY IN SAN DIEGO, plain and simple as that. I wasted time and money meeting with other attorneys in SD who were supposedly «the best in town». I came across Patrick on Unilocal,gave him a call after business hours, he dropped what he was doing, met with me, and 2 days later had my case dismissed! All the other lawyers I talked to did nothing but give me a bad feeling and tell me it was going to be an extended process.
