Grow Smart Children’s Academy

This is an amazing school and my two girls (ages 4 and 2) love going to school. I was very nervous to put my kids in daycare, especially my youngest who was only 16 months old at the time. My husband and I went to many different daycare centers and researched all of them by calling the city of La Mesa to see their records. What I found was Grow Smart Children’s Academy was such a warm and welcoming environment, that it just felt right for my family and I. We have been going to Grow Smart Children’s Academy for over a year and a half and we feel so fortunate everyday that our kids love going to school, playing with their friends, constructing art projects, and working on their alphabet. The teachers at Grow Smart are wonderful. They genuinely care about my daughters and they are so loving and kind to the kids. I cannot recommend this school enough. The teachers, directors, and members of this daycare center are truly our second family.

We have had our daughter Ella here for the past three years. The administrators Mrs. Anna and her son Armen try extremely hard to make this a family setting and that it is. The teachers Ms. Cynthia, Ms. Sonia and Ms. Nikki have been mainstays since we started. They do an excellent job of preparing your kids for kindergarten. The tuition is very reasonable, they prepare warm meals for your kid in a warm learning environment. We will miss this place once Ella is done, absolutely no regrets, would enroll her again in a heartbeat.

As a new parent, I was looking for a place that would enrich my daughters in many activities and provide quality care. I was lucky to find such a caring, warm enivironment that is family oriented and care so much about each child there.
I found Grow smart children’s academy while looking for local development centers that would provide a rich learning environment. I was so lucky to find this center for my girls. All the staff made my girls transition into the school as smooth as possible and gave me the opportunity to visit and call as much as I wanted. My daughters were 2 and 3 years old when they started and are now approaching 4 and 5. There are many family activities to look forward too. The owners are all about family and teaching. The cleanest and safest place ever! I’ve tried their food one day ~ fresh ~ like homemade! I would highly recommend Grow Smart Children’s Academy!

This may be a daycare center, but it is all about family. I have sent three kids over 11 years here and am very happy with the care. The owners and staff love what they do and promote and happy/​healthy learning environment.

I am so happy we found this daycare. Grow Smart Academy has seriously been the best choice I have made as a parent thus far. My son has never been in daycare before and he loves it there so much.
I love all the ladies there as well! I love how clean it is. As a parent, this gives me tremendous confidence.

I adore Grow Smart Children’s Academy! My 2 year old son has been going here for a couple of months now and I am completely satisfied. We had looked at a couple other daycare’s in the La Mesa area and were a little skeptical; but when we toured Grow Smart it was perfect.
The day care center is very clean! The teachers are great with all the kids and my son loves all of them. The price is reasonable for the hours of operation, meals included (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks) and all the activities they provide.
I was a typical nervous mom putting my son into day care; but I am completely comfortable with leaving him there for 8 hours and am surprised at how much he has developed since only attending for about 3 months.

My son has been going here since he was 16 months old and is now 2.5. I cannot tell you how nervous I was at first to put my son into a licensed preschool at such a young age. As he’s developed over the his time with Grow Smart, he has blossomed beyond his years.
At 2.5 he knows his colors, shapes, alphabet, and will ask to go to «school», even on the weekends.
For the cost of child care compared to what is provided to the children (a learning experience, a play experience, 3 meals plus snacks, and a loving environment), we cannot find a place that compares.
When we were moving into our first home, we deliberately looked at homes near his school, which makes for a longer commute time for myself and my husband. It is worth the drive knowing that our son is having an amazing experience.
We love every single person who works there and cannot wait for them to open up a class for babies so that our unborn baby will be able to join his or her big brother at Grow Smart.

My son has gone to this learning academy since he was four months old. I had gone to many places showing up randomly. This was the only place out of five or six that I had felt comfortable leaving my son. The owner Mrs. Anna personally took care of my son. I believe they take four babies at a time .Then as they get older they move to different classes with different teachers in the same building. It is a house they turned into a daycare and preschool. They bought a house next door as well and expanded. They have healthy meals, they do arts and crafts, they sing and read. By the age of two they had helped me with potty training my son. My son is very educated and I give this school half of the credit for it .He is also well mannered and I also credit this school for that as well. I teach my son and read to him but I am always surprised at advanced words that he knows and things that he says to me that is advanced for his age. He is now four years old. They moved him to pre school when he was two because he was potty trained and he could talk. I think those are the regulations. They also have parties for the holidays and the children always have a christmas play they dress up and sing. I feel that this daycare treats my son like if they had their own and I am very confident that he is highly taken care of at this school.
