H&R Block

The people here were friendly but friendly doesnt get your taxes done. These people clearly had no idea what they were doing and when we made suggestions they had to bring out book after book on rules and blah blah blah which they shouldnt have had to, they should know these things after all is it their job. I have never had this experience in all my years of filing taxes. I felt scammed, so after an hour and a half there we ended up not using their services and we are taking our business elsewhere.

I’m pleased with the customer service we received at this location, they were very friendly and lots of appointment times available, the only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because the lady that did our taxes seemed like she was struggling and wasn’t all that knowledgeable, but she was very nice and apologetic about the issues she was having with our stuff, I just wish we could have had someone more prepared do our taxes.

Never going back. The guy messed up my return and i am going on 3 and a half months of sending stuff to the irs because he didn’t know what he was doing.

Quickly & easily handled my returns. Pricey, but so far worth it for since I have a tricky return this year.

Nothing makes my skin crawl as much as thinking about my taxes. I hate it. I even get anxiety when I see those silly sign-​spinners on the corner dressed as Statue of Liberty’s during tax season. It’s pretty bad. I don’t understand how my specific tax bracket works, and I would prefer to just not have to deal with it.
This year, I decided to not only get my taxes professionally done, but to do them early! Wahoo! So I made my way to the closest H & R Block to my house, which happens to be this one. I spoke with the store manager Patricia Barry, on the phone, gave her waaaay too much information with disclaimers about what a messy tax customer I was about to be, and then bit the bullet and went in.
Patricia couldn’t have been nicer, and helped me organize everything that needed it. This is the simplest procedure in the world, and she was so pleasant and non-​judgemental. I will definitely go back to see her next year.
The cost is between $ 99 – 150 for them to do your taxes, and it is worth EVERY penny.
