Horrible experience. Extremely overpriced for the little work they had to do. I would never ever refer anyone here.

I saw the ad on tv and decided that it was time to win a 1000 dollars and clean up the wreckage of the past. I did not win the cash but I certainly won big when I met Sandy Farrow Tax MASTER in the Mercado! She listened with interest and empathy as I dumped my disorganized filing system on her desk and attempted to explain that which I did not understand. Let me say she is as easy to talk to as my mother and sharp! My rambling would have more than likely shocked most, but not her. She’s got salt! Think I’ll nickname her Savvy Sandy. You do not become a master in one thing without being proficient in several. I put my ego in my pocket and was treated with much courtesy and respect. Sandy, HR Block and staff, as promised turned my tax worries into solutions far better than I even hoped for. Thank you for taking care of my 2013,14 and 2015 returns and you can bet you’ve earned my loyalty and I promise to tell many. See you soon, Kenneth Stanley

I usually do my own taxes but this year I have had lots of changes that would reflect in my income and filing status. I came here to have my taxes filed as well as ask many questions. I was assigned Bev Payne. She was very helpful and patient. She emailed me later in the evening to tell me that someone in the office overheard what I owed them for doing my taxes and actually «paid it forward» by covering all my fees. It was close to $ 300.00. What a great experience.

I came to this H&R Block location this year, as it was my first time filing my own taxes without my parents doing it for me. They assigned Alan Cummings to my account and I couldn’t have been more relieved to have such an awesome, informed and laid back guy to help me out. As a 23 yr old, I had NO idea what was going on, what I needed to bring/​what I was doing and Alan never made me feel stupid for any of this, but simple tackled any questions I had and laid out clearly what it was that I needed to finish. Three appointments later my taxes were finally done and I learned so much for next time around. Just wanted to leave this review and thank Alan for his patience and all his help!

Love them! For me it is worth the cost to not to deal with the stress of taxes. I usually come in hoping that I have everything they need (sometimes I don’t) and they are always kind and patient. I have been coming here for years and haven’t had a bad experience yet. Love new offices, much more private. I highly recommend Bev Payne. She is calm, methodical, and explains what she is doing as we go along.

They do a decent enough job. Although for $ 300+ a year i’m not sure it’s all worth it. Their employees are typically older folks so if you don’t mind them moving slowly it shouldn’t bother you that much. They never seem too confident in what they are doing, and yet, somehow I keep returning…
I’ve been there three years in a row now to do my taxes. Can’t say i’ve had a problem yet at this particular office.
