Complete con artists, they could give lessons to the best hustlers out there !! Too bad mr. haffar uses his talents the wrong way, I gave him 5 stars because I have been screwed by the best (I thought) until I met this guy, if he gave classes on hustling he would even get wealthier … Oh, maybe they will let him do that in prison, be assured that is in his future, according to the bar his karma is about to catch up with him. What a waste of criminal talent !, he will probably make a movie or write a book while he does his time, only in America !!!

THIS IS A SCAM!!! — I was trying to do a loan modification, I was phone solicited by this firm and with their gentle, compassionate voice, my trust was placed on them knowing that their website added the trust they gave me… their associates ALLEN, LEONARD & MICHAEL (employees)will convince you to do anything to get that $ 3,500 initial payment, then after you give them the money, they will transfer you to another person, then another person. After that they will never return your phone call… its been more than 60 days and I never heard anything from them, we’ve contatced the company and in order for you to get through they have an automatic screener that prompts you to leave your name and call back number… like the other complaints here in Unilocal they are TRUE and CORRECT — i repeat DO NOT GET THIS COMPANY!!!

Since My last review I contact the BBB, and a few laywers. The firm saw a posting that I put on on the web and contacted me again via e-​mail wanted to speak with me about my refund I had been requesting. I spoke on conference with Mr Haffar himself as well as one of the managers, I was told to expect a full refund both via e-​mail and during this conference call. A month later I got a follow up e-​mail informing me they changed their mind and wont be giving me my money back. I should have know better than to belive the words that comes out of anyone’s mouth at this firm.

I had negotiated a loan modification with my lender in December 2009, Haffar & Associates informed me that it wasn’t a loan modification and to hire there services. I acquired Haffar & Associates services for a loan modification in March of this year and paid them $ 3,500. One condition I had was that we needed to have open communication the entire time. I wanted to be informed of who they spoke with, when they contacted my lender, what was said during conversations with my lender. They did not keep up their side of the deal. I have had nothing but troubles with Haffar & Associates, they did not summit a complete package to my lender, causing my home to go into foreclosure and they did not communicate well during the process. After a couple months Haffar & Associates informed me that the modification that I negotiated in December 2009 was in fact a modification. I am very disappointed with Haffar & Associates; I felt cheated and taken advantage of. There lack of communication, follow through; they did not know how to summit a complete package. I had to take matters into my own hands, I called my lender and had them reinstate my modification and I managed to save my home.
When I asked for a refund, they did not want to give me one. They did noting to save my home; they did not do anything that was stated in contract. I’ve contacted the BBB, CA bar association, posted my experience on several social websites and contacted several attorneys. I can’t believe that companies like this exist, during these hard economic times companies will cheat and take your money without offering a service. I am working on a letter to Jerry Brown, Attorney General and will share my experience with him. I am sick and tired of company’s like this…
