Hair By Jeanette

I have been to see Jeanette two times now. She highlighted my hair and even gave me a free trim on my first visit. She did an excellent job. This time, I had my hair highlighted and also got a regular hair cut. I paid only about $ 100 with tip! The prices are great, but more importantly, the quality of her service is top notch. I’ve been to Avenda Salons, Carlton Day Spa in Fashion valley, Robert Cromeans, you name it. These places charge 3 – 4 times as much, but the quality of the service is no different. Jeannette is great! This is not a fancy schmancy salon, as the other reviewer mentioned, it’s in the back of the Beaty Supply next to Vons. It’s clean and comfortable in there, and it was nice and cool in there Saturday, even during the heat wave!

I moved from San Diego eight years ago, but I still visit semi-​annually. The haircuts I get from Jeanette are around $ 30, but I have spent over $ 100 for the same quality work in San Francisco. I don’t let anyone touch my hair except for her. She is an expert colorist and really saves the integrity of your hair and is very honest about achievable results. The salon is a little hard to find (Next to Vons, in the back of Empire Beauty Salon), but she’s my best kept little beauty secret!
