Wonderful hair stylist with a great attitude goes a long way. This one understands stubborn asian hair and can weave it however she chooses it to. When I’m in San Diego, I go to her! She takes phone appointments and is usually booked rather quick. If you want a cut best call a week in advance. Especially for Saturdays. Her 5-​minute head and neck massage after the cut is also amazing to have!

Loved this place. Sayuri is from Japan yet she can speak a good amount of English and understands what sort of style you want. You can show her a picture and she can be honest to tell you if it’ll look good on you and whether it will even work with the type of hair you have. She can match the picture to the haircut pretty accurately and she’s good at thinning out hair too. The cut includes a wash and a nice 5 minute head massage. She kindly gives hair treatment tips and is good company!
