Hair By Tia

This review is for Tia Giacalone. I have gone to her since the start of 2010 when she was at another salon, and then followed her to this salon. She does an awesome job dealing with my hair which is really thick and takes a great deal of work to manage. I like to be drastic with my hair at times, and she did a fabulous job with a super edgy short ‘do that I had envisioned. During the growing out stages she gave me a fantastic sleek bob, and now that my hair is past shoulder length she is helping me maintain the long locks in a way that I dont look like cousin IT. I keep my hair red, and when I wanted a specific shade she worked and researched on how to achieve that. It turned out awesome! Tia is always fun, personable and very easy going so its like a nice chat with a friend while getting an awesome hairdo! Highly recommend her!

I love Tia! I don’t go as often as I should for a trim, but when I do she does a great job. I recently decided to get highlights after not having color done for over a year and she did a thorough job consulting with me about my color options. She did a wonderful job perfectly placing my highlights in a natural way, just what I wanted :) She’s also hilarious, so it’s fun to go to her.

Tia is fantastic. I’ve been looking for a replacement for my chicago stylist for years, and Tia is the real deal. Knowledgeable colorist who balances trends with practicality. My haircut is the best I’ve had in years! It’s manageable (low maintenance) yet very stylish. It’s a personal experience, where you won’t feel like a «number” – she provides a great shampoo too!

I love Tia! She is the absolutel best! I have been going to her for six years, and she always cuts my hair perfectly! She is super flexible with scheduling, and is so much fun to visit with. Her cuts always grow out really well too. I can’t recommend her enough! :-)

Tia is the BEST hair stylist ever! I have been going to her for years and am never disappointed by her work. Every time I leave the salon I cant wait to show off my fresh color or cut. Tia knows what she is doing, and always suggests the best for your hair to try and keep it healthy and gorgeous. She is an expert at highlights and always makes them look natural and blended. Going to Tia is also fun because we always catch up on the latest TV show drama or just catch up on life. She is a joy to be around and I always look forward to my next appointment. She is very flexible with her scheduling and is always accommodating. Love her!

Tia is hands down the greatest hair stylist, i’ve been going to her for six years now! She is exceptionally gifted in color, and helps me keep my hair healthy and looking great!!! I highly recommend her.

I just LOVE Tia! She is the only person who could help me get to a point where I am happy with my hair again! I love the blonde highlights, LOVE the way it all blends with my «natural» hair color and haven’t had this great of a cut in years! She has also given me tips on styling at home, great organic products to use and takes time to hear my wants and needs for my hair before she starts messing with it. Plus, she is super nice! It can’t get any better than Tia! Don’t waste your time going to anyone else. :-)
