Happy Endings Photography

My husband and I enjoyed working with Happy Ending Photography and loved their work. A few strong points to note:
* They were on time with deadlines, arrival times, etc. for both the wedding and the engagement photoshoot. This made planning and scheduling pretty easy.
* They were very strategic in finding ways to capture the entire event from great angles and followed the photo styles that I had wanted.
* Presented the photos in a cute custom USB drive with many different shots to choose from — yes presentation matters!
I had originally seen their work at my brother’s wedding back in 2013 and, along with the fact that they were decently priced and that I had already seen their work, my husband and I were sold. In the end, when we saw the wedding and engagement photos, we were extremely happy with them. They looked amazing! Working with them for our wedding, they were easy going, and great to get along with. Both Linh and Cang made a great team and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for someone to do a photoshoot with. Should we need another photoshoot in the future, I know who I’ll call :)

We used Happy Endings for both maternity and newborn photos, and we absolutely love Linh and Cang! She was super accommodating with scheduling, and chose a great location for maternity pics, and had great ideas and props for the newborn pics at our home! I also love that we had the option to just get the digital prints rather than having to buy some big photo package. We received the prints in about 2 weeks both times, so she is also really fast! I would highly recommend them!

Linh has now done our son’s first birthday cake smash photo shoot and our older son’s 3^rd birthday photos. Both sessions came back with AMAZING photos! Looking forward to scheduling my daughter’s birthday photos in the summer. Definitely recommend Happy Endings Photography to anybody looking to have their family photos done.

We decided to go with Linh based on recommendations on this page, and we weren’t disappointed. My partner and I had a simple courthouse wedding with only one witness (my wife’s 6 year-​old daughter). In fact, Linh offered to be a witness too! Linh’s photgraphs were excellent. She has a very good eye for capturing the moment. She uses a lot of «photo-​journalism» techniques — which is in vogue these days, and they were very good. But she also produced a number of excellent staged/​portrait-​style shots which were equally good. Suffice it to say, Linh is a true professional and is very good at what she does Her pictures are perfectly color balanced and the subjects are sharp and in focus. The dynamic and still shots were all good. Her prices are reasonable and she was very accommodating in making small time adjustments when shooting on location. I would highly recommend her to anyone else wanting to have treasured memories that will last a lifetime.

I heard about Lihn and Cang through some friends who always get their photos done with them. We booked our appointment and I am so happy with our pictures. We wanted to take them on the Scripps pier, but there was an event going on there at the time so it was a cluster. On top of that, it was the hottest day in October and my daughter is still and infant so going anywhere else was not an option for us. Linh and Crag were accommodating and met us there. They took so many beautiful pictures of my family and my daughter. I highly recommend them.
I can’t wait to get pictures done with them again next year.

Linh & Cang are truly an amazing team! They are our go to for all our photo needs. They have been taking our baby’s pictures since he was 2 weeks old. They are great with babies and kids, and are fun to shoot with.
They always have great ideas for locations, and have a creative eye for beautiful shots. We love shooting with them they are a blast to work with. We actually have our baby’s 1^st birthday cake smash with them this Sunday. We can’t wait.
They take tons of shots, and have a great return time for your images. We always get a variety of selections to choose from. They also make these great prints on a really cool aluminum. Very different and sheek from the usually canvases.

Happy Endings Photography has been taking pictures for my family for about 6 years now. They do such a wonderful job for us aside from all the amazing sessions they’ve had with others. We had our engagement pictures done, my wife’s pregnancy, our wedding, yearly family shots, our baby’s birthdays, and so much more i can’t remember. The walls in our house are covered with photos from Happy Endings… it’s awesome.
Though they are in San Diego and we are in Orange County, the drive is well worth it for the time and care they put into their work. Linh and Cang (the owners) are down to earth people and will certainly make your photo session a fun one.

We loved working with Linh. She was very accommodating of our request for a family photo session during the brief time our adult kids were home visiting in San Diego last month. She was friendly and very professional in making all the arrangements and very generous in providing tons of creative photos of our family in an outdoor park setting. Her pricing seemed very reasonable and we love the large assortment of digital images she provided. Highly recommended!

This is the 5^th year in a row we’ve been using them as our photographers, so needless to day we’re happy with them!
I appreciate that they know what they’re doing, but at the same time not all snooty-​photographer like. Well, I don’t know if photographers are snooty, maybe I made that part up :). Linh & Cang are always fun to work. Linh goes as far as jumping up and down and making «whoot whoot» sounds so my dogs are looking at the camera. She even brought a little hat for the photo shoot last year for my doggie.
I always wait in anticipation to receive my photos after the shoot and I am never disappointed by how the photos come out. This year the photos on the usb stick was a cool touch.
I don’t feel like we’re just a number and just rushed through the process, they are very personable, and professional at the same time. This year I think I reserved a spot with them 6 months in advance so I wouldn’t miss out!

Totally affordable wedding photography pricing and all-​around amazing people to work. After much discussion among ourselves we ended up getting the engagement and wedding photos in the same package and I couldn’t be more pleased with this decision. It was truly worth every penny.
From start to finish they were by far the easiest and most trustworthy vendor we worked with during our wedding. And if you are planning a wedding, you know how important that is. We highly recommend Happy Endings Photography and look forward to using them again in the future for possible family photos!

If there were more stars to click on I would! Linh and Cang are AMAZING!!! They were recommended to us and once we met them it was like we knew them forever. Now that we have used them we would not go elsewhere. Their product is just as amazing as they are. We have our date set up for this year and hoping to set it up for the next one as soon as they will allow us to! They set up a teaser almost as soon as they take the picture which allows family and friends get a taste of their amazing work :)

Linh & Cang were very professional! I had an upcoming wedding and interviewed and researched different photographers. I chose Happy Endings Photography because they were quick to respond to all my questions and plus there was 2 of them who would capture more memories on my special day. I was very happy I chose Happy endings Photography for photograph my engagement photos and my wedding day. They gave me my digital copies of my photos in a very timely manner, I didn’t have to harass them for my photos :0)
They gave me my digital copies on a USB stick which was very nice, the copies that were printed out were amazing, it was like a metallic gloss finish which made the photos look more amazing! They always have specials on prints and you get notified through Facebook.
I would definitely recommend Happy Ending Photography and use them again and again. PS I don’t even live in San Diego! Thanks again Linh & Cang! Great Job!

I love Happy Endings Photography. We got our 6 week old daughters photos taken with them. They were really comfortable and patient with the baby. So worth the drive all the way to San Diego. Thank you Happy Endings for the photos they are breath taking.

My family and I love their work, we all feel very comfortable I front of the camera. I’ve already set up my family shoot for he end of the year! Can’t wait!

Where do I begin?
Words cannot explain how happy I was to have gotten my maternity session and newborn session done by such a wonderful duo!
The booking was simple and easy, Linh is great at responding in a timely manner and is awesome at setting up all the details for the shoot.
Their website is gorgeous and their facebook page is always updated. I like how well they maintain both of them. They are incredibly professional.
Linh and Cang as a team are perfect, there are so many wonderful things I have to say about them. They are the cutest husband and wife I’ve ever seen, great sense of humor, good conversationalists, none of those awkward moments you get a studios! They make you feel so comfortable and treat you like they would treat a close friend or family member.
Their pricing is amazing and their pictures belong in magazines. I received so many compliments on our photos. I’m what you would consider a plus size girl (size 12 and 14) and they made me look amazing in the pictures, they got the right angles and poses for me, to the point that some of my friends thought I was working as a pregnant model. Yeah right! It was their amazing photos! I never thought I could feel so feminine and empowered by posing for some photos showing off my pregnant belly.
The shoot itself was so much fun! My husband said he had so much fun that he was amazed, that morning he had been complaining that it was going to be boring because taking pictures for him is a chore sometimes. Not this time. We did our shoot at balboa park (the «jungle» area) in April 2012 and we did a lot of poses and even hiked down to a little area to get more shots. After the photo shoot my husband said he had a lot of fun and really liked Linh and Cang and that we should get more photos with them! I was thrilled! Hubby was so involved in the photo shoot that he was even suggesting some poses hehe. Can’t wait for baby #2 to have an excuse to do another fun maternity photo shoot!
We received the disc with all the images about 2 weeks after our maternity photo shoot, printed some out, showed most of them off on Facebook. My friends and family loved all the photos.
For our newborn session our baby was 5 weeks early so we had to schedule sooner than expected and Linh was so understanding and worked with us. They came to the house in June 2012 and set everything up and posed our little baby wonderfully. Her pics are adorable and I made her birth announcements with one of the pictures. We received the disc 2 weeks after the newborn session. The thin wrap we received with our package and the two 5×7 prints were awesome! The metallic paper they use is beyond words. I had never seen anything like it.
My husband and I have agreed to do any future maternity, newborn and family photos session with them. We have tried different studios and photographers in the past and I can say that we will never again look anywhere else. Linh and Cang are the best. I am looking forward to booking them for our family special occasions too.

As soon as I got the okay from the Husband for our very first Family portrait shots, I immediately set up an appointment with Happy Endings Photography! I had seen their work on their website, and saw their pictures from friends. Am so glad that we were able to snag the last slot available for our dates, and of course, unbelievingly glad that we got our beautiful pictures done with them!
They picked a perfect setting and we’ve been hearing nothing but raves about our pictures. I even have 2 sets of holiday cards, because it was so hard to choose a favorite!
The best part for me is, that they made our session FUN! With a toddler, and a camera shy husband, that is not an easy feat :)

I can’t believe I didn’t review them after our wedding. I know, it was a busy time, but still!
We found Happy Endings via Unilocal!when a school friend I was hoping to use was unavailable. One of the first things that attracted me was their pricing. AMAZING! I saw wedding photographers charging upwards of $ 7,000 for the same service, or less. We got all the images on disc and ordered a beautiful thin wrap from them to display at the wedding. They worked with us to design the most cost-​effective package for our needs and we couldn’t have been happier.
Linh and Kang are amazing photographers and work well together. I love their vision and how it translates into making even me look amazing. They’re exceptionally good at letting us be ourselves and capturing that.
We’ve had them shoot us three times now (engagement 09/​11, Wedding, 11/​11, and Holidays ¹⁰⁄₁₂) and it is always fun, relaxed, but professional. Our home is papered with their photographs. We had them come back this year for our Christmas card photos and I love knowing that we’ll hire them every year. They get how important the traditions are. and really enjoy being part of them. Even only seeing them once a year, they feel like family and that makes the whole process more fun, which means better photographs.

After getting engaged this past spring… I definitely knew we were having an engagement photo shoot. I honestly didn’t know where to begin looking for a photographer. I got on Unilocal and I came across Happy Endings Photography. I saw 5 stars (which immediately got my attention, since many reviews were already posted and there was no unsatisfied customer). I read the reviews on here and I just KNEW I wouldn’t be disappointed. I took the time to check out their website, read their blogs, «liked» their page on Facebook (which updated me with new photo shoots every single week) and without hesitation, sent an email inquiring about their services. I was pleased on how FAST Linh replied to my questions. She was so straight forward and was super flexible (feedback and opinions were offered). She replied to all my worries, concerns, questions, etc. BEFORE we even took the pictures, I just KNEW we had made the right decision to book the shoot with Happy Endings.
Linh and Cang are the photographers. They’re the cutest (most down to earth) married couple, I have ever met. It was such a pleasure and a true HONOR to have had them take our engagement pictures. They both had a great sense of humor (which I strongly appreciate in people)…They are true professionals and every time I see my pictures, I am yet, another Satisfied customer :)
This summer, I was determined to have the BEST engagement photo shoot (that will make jaws drop) … && I’m so proud to say, Happy Endings Photography DEFINITELY made that happen!

Ok. So what is up with all these photographers charging an arm and a leg — and then trying to charge an additional leg just to get the disk of digital files?!? Not cool.
I am soooo glad that we found Happy Endings Photography! My sister was on a super tight budget, but still wanted to get beautiful photos of her special day nonetheless. I helped her out and found Happy Endings. Linh responded to my contact request almost immediately and upon reviewing their price-​list, we scheduled a consultation meeting right away. I love that its a husband and wife team (meaning you get two photographers coverage — whoo!), and that they were young and personable. We were still trying to figure out our timeline at the time, but it was good to know that they were available on an hourly basis if we ended up needing them for less than 6 hours.
My sister actually ended up booking them at an hourly rate so that we could splurge on one of their beautiful wedding albums. They offer beautiful and affordable products (ask about the Thin Wrap!) which made us even more excited for the big day.
Overall, it was the perfect experience we would want from a wedding photographer. Communication leading up to the day was great, fast turnaround, and of course — digital negatives!
Now my sister is hoping to get knocked up so that I can reschedule a maternity session with them — we saw their portfolio and am in love with their unique style for capturing bare preggo bellies!

My best friend pushed me into taking maternity photos, I really didn’t want to but she convinced me to. I’m so glad that I did, and even more happy that I chose Happy Endings Photography.
They are resonably priced, and very professional. Linh and Kang made me feel comfortable showing my bare belly in Balboa Park! I can’t wait until our baby arrives, so that we can give them a call to take her newborn pictures.
The best part is that you are able to keep your own pictures! Happy Endings sends you a disk of your photos so that you can print out as many photos as you like. We received our pictures very promptly after taking them, I would say just short of two weeks.
