I am so grateful I found Harmony Home Medical when I did. I was trying to coordinate SOOOOO many things after my mother had a stroke. You don’t really keep track of where the medical equipment stores are until you need them and I am so blessed I found these guys. Erica made us feel very comfortable that we were covering all of our bases for Mom’s return home. She gave us all sort of referrals and information and evaluated her home for accessibility. We ended up getting a wheelchair and a stairlift from Harmony, and Adam, the gentleman who installs the lifts there, was amazing. They beat the other bid we got for the lift and their customer service was over the top the entire time. It really took a lot of stress off of me once Harmony got involved and helped us out through this tough transition. Thanks Harmony Home Medical!

My wife had surgery in April 2015 and at the last minute, we decided that she needed a hospital bed for the duration of her recovery. I went on Unilocal and the first place that I came across was this place. Not only did they have a bed available but they were also able to deliver it to Chula Vista the very next day — the date of her release from the hospital. The bed made it on time and my wife was so happy with it that we decided to extend the original two week reservation to a four week reservation.
Thanks for what you do and for the great customer service! I would not hesitate to use you again.

We rented a wheelchair from here for a few weeks, then it ended up being needed for a month.
They were super helpful, got the right size and comfortable chair. Paying was super easy. Seems the longer you rent the less it costs? So we started out thinking 2 weeks, but had to change it after two weeks to a month. That part was also easy. We just let them know and they made the change.
This new store is HUGE compared to the last one. They have tons of stuff aside from wheelchairs and walkers.
Renting and returning the wheelchair was fast and easy.

Erica saw me campaigning for a Tilt & Recline Wheelchair, and got together with Adam and other’s at Harmony and built and donated a Quantum Edge T & R, power chair to me today. It is people like Erica, at companies like Harmony Home Medical, who change peoples lives, who otherwise don’t qualify for equipment they most desperately need. Erica has changed my life, and made it possible for my rehabilitation from a severe spinal injury, to finally begin after 19 months. Thank you Erica, and Adam, the only way I can ever repay you, is to tell my story, and to show positive progression in my life, as a result of your hard work, and the donation you have made on my behalf. Erica and Adam, excuse my rudimentary expression, but, You Rock!
Today, Erica Sells came to Golden Hills Rehabilitation, and showed me how to use all of the many available options, on the chair she donated to me, free of charge. I am still in disbelief, that I was unable to raise any money on my campaign, and yet I am sitting here with the chair I so desperately needed. I was not even approached or asked if my Insurance might help foot some of the bill, or if I could pay like $ 10 a month even.
When I read a little about Harmony Home Medical, being a family owned and operated business, it really hit home to me the difference between this type of company, and say a corporation such as a Rite Aid, or Walgreens. Harmony Home Medical doesn’t just supply very much needed equipment in the Health-​Care Industry. They really do… care about their customers needs, as well as the needs of the people who need the equipment they supply that can’t afford it.

Because my husband has a temporary leg injury, we needed a short-​term rental of a wheelchair so he could attend our nephew’s college graduation. We found Harmony Home after Googling wheelchair rental and our Zip Code, and we’re glad we tried them. The gals who assisted us were very knowledgeable and helpful in deciding which wheelchair would work best for his need, plus they were so pleasant. Their rental rates were the same as others we saw on the web for short-​term rentals. I have already recommended Harmony Home to friends of ours and will definitely go back if the need arises (but knock-​on-​wood it doesn’t).

Nice little shop. The employees are extremely helpful and great customer service. I was a bit disappointed at the prices however. I went in and got a cold therapy unit to make icing my knee after surgery easier and they had the unit that I wanted, however the price was $ 160 more than other stores and online. Unfortunately the other local stores were sold out and I couldn’t wait to receive a shipped unit so I sucked it up and bought it anyways since it was still cheaper than renting a unit. I thought that it was pretty crazy that they charged almost double what it should have cost. I didn’t check the prices on other stuff here but wouldn’t be surprised if you could find much cheaper prices else where…

This is actually my first Unilocal review but I can not say enough good things about how accomodating Racheal and all of the folks out at HARMONY were with accomodating my father. What a Christmas Blessing to be with my father on Christmas, as his time here is limited. He would not be able to enjoy his stay without the power chair from Harmony.

This place is great! Home medical supply shops are the sort of thing where you never need them until you really need them, and then you’re desperate to find a place that has the selection you want/​need, and prices that don’t make you feel like you’re being taken advantage of. This place has both, plus really nice staff.
Rachael helped me both times I went in there, and she was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. We ended up getting a packet of assistive tools, a toilet seat commode, and we also rented a tray table for a month. It was wonderful knowing that we could easily and quickly rent a rolling tray table so we didn’t have to purchase one since we only needed it for a couple of weeks at most. And she said as long as we didn’t use the commode, if it didn’t fit we could return it, most of the other shops around wont let you return a toilet-​related article, even if it’s never been used. I really appreciated that we could take it home and make sure it fit in our bathroom alright, knowing we wouldn’t be out that money if it didn’t fit our space.
Like I said, you don’t even know these places exist until you need them, and then it’s like «OMG, where can I get this thing or that thing!!!» They will walk you through it all, tell you what’s rentable and what’s not, order things for you if they don’t have it in stock, and most impressive to me was that if you need something ASAP they will even call around to their local competition so you don’t have to wait to order it — now that’s customer service that’s customer-​oriented! Oh, and that original toilet riser we got that was useless? Harmony also has a donation program for MS, so we can donate our unused toilet riser, or anything else I guess, to them once we no longer need them. I like that recycle/​reuse mentality!

We needed a wheelchair for our daughter, who had broken her ankle. They were very helpful, knowledgeable, eager to help and very affordable.

Great place to find some practical home medical equipment. I came here looking for a swivel seat cushion for the Grandma to help her in/​out of the car. Erica (the owner?) was a great help and knew exactly what I was looking for. (She called it a lazy Susan for the butt — lol) She even took the time to recommend other similar products that I could get to help the old Grams.
When Erica went to the back to grab my product, I had a chance to look around the store. There are a lot of miscellaneous products here, and I’m sure organizing them isn’t easy. But if you know what you’re looking for, you should ask them and they’ll know where to find it!

We just rented a wheelchair from Harmony Home Medical. Everyone that works there is very knowledgable and kind. It took us about 20 minutes from initial contact on the phone to point of purchase. They have a great selection of wheelchairs, scooters, life chairs and beds. Highly recommended!
