The director of the Hillcrest Wellness Center of San Diego, Riley Cormack, MA, LPCC, CPC, is a licensed counselor in the State of California, a certified personal coach, and a certified massage practitioner. He meets with individuals, couples, families and small businesses over a broad range of issues and concerns, including those around relationships, personal growth, self-​esteem, LGBT issues, career and business growth, goal-​setting, pain management and more. As director, he works to ensure that the collection of exceptional and dedicated wellness service providers at the Hillcrest Wellness Center continue to offer the best, most effective wellness services possible to the people of the San Diego community.

There is a lot going at the new Hillcrest Wellness Center of San Diego. I’ve been seeing a counselor there for several months, who has helped me to grow and understand myself in gentle but measurable ways. In addition to counseling, they also operate numerous groups, and offer a variety of bodywork and wellness treatments from life coaching to massage.
I have also attended two different meetup groups at Hillcrest Wellness Center. The first one is for young counseling professionals who want to learn more about Narrative Therapy, a theoretical framework for helping clients to identify helpful and unhelpful ways of understanding their lives and make choices that are more in line with who they aim to be. The second group is for anyone from he community who wants to learn about the Enneagram, a personality-​type system based on ancient Eastern wisdom. I found both groups to be fun, well-​lead, and full of interesting people.
Plus, the location is unbeatable and parking is fairly easy (by Hillcrest standards). I recommend them completely.
UPDATE:
They have moved to 3344 4th Ave in Bankers Hill. I go there for clinical supervision with a lovely and wise Licensed Clinical Social Worker named Joan Bruner. I still think this place has a lot going for it; I hope it continues to thrive in the new neighborhood!
