Dr. Hovsepian and her team at IPSC are knowledgeable and compassionate. They offer a variety of therapies and are focused on family centered care. Over the past year they have become a true support system for myself and my son. I feel heard, valued, and cared for by the team. They have gone above and beyond to advocate for my sons needs in education, guide his social needs, and provide the support I need as a mother. They have been very accommodating with scheduling and patient with insurance/​financial matters. Truly a top notch practice! I could not be more grateful! Dr. Hovsepian, aka «Dr. H», is one of the most amazing doctors I’ve ever met! From the moment I called her for the initial appointment up to now, she has continuously shown that she cares deeply for her patients and their families. Dr. H is truly gifted at what she does and has helped my whole family immensely. I cant thank her enough for the wonderful work she does, so grateful to have her!

When I first came to Dr. H my son was the target patient. She was able to assist me with him. Together we were able to get my son an IEP in the 10^th grade! Anyone who has dealt with San Diego schools know that they have been known to dismiss some children as defiant rather than a learning disability. He was able to graduate, what parent would not be thrilled!
And then there is me. I was experiencing a life of going through the motions and doing what I thought I was supposed to be doing as a wife, mother, and employee. I was unhappy and did not know how or what would make me happy. I was smoking 1 and half packs of cigarettes a day, overweight, never exercised, in a miserable marriage, and stuck in a position at work with no advancement. My husband and I decided to split and I had no idea what to do.
I sought Dr, H again, but this time for me! Through therapy I am what I currently have coined Version 6.0. Over the next couple of years I have changed everything in my life. I survived a divorce and I am at peace and I make mindful decisions about what I do and who I choose to spend time with. I have earned my BA, quit smoking, I exercise, yoga, and meditate. In the process I have lost weight and am the healthiest me I have ever been, body, mind and soul!
I made all these amazing changes with Dr. H’s caring and support! Thank you Dr. H.
