Meet the Business Owner

Jan B.

Business Owner

Mr. Brandrup received his M.A. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Fredericia Technical College in Denmark. Over the course of his early career, Mr. Brandrup worked in many capacities as an engineer and operational manager for organizations such as A.P. Moller: the Thule United States Air Force Base in Greenland, where he maintained and optimized energy installations: as well as a refinery where he implemented new energy solutions and maintenance procedures to reduce overall energy use of the plant.

In 2010, Mr. Brandrup co-​founded CO2light, Denmark’s leading LED business solution developer. He sold the company in 2012 to focus on Hyperikon founded in 2011. Jan Brandrup brought his family to Southern California from Demark to help bring better energy solutions to the area. Together with his wife, two children, two horses and dog, Jan enjoys living in sunny San Diego.
