Went here with my girlfriends a couple weeks ago. The environment is really great. It’s super important to go to the dancing lessons so you can participate. I was excited to learn one of the dances, but they didn’t do it for the next 3 hours! Kind of disappointing because I didn’t know the others and the people on the dance floor are not very welcoming if you can’t keep up. It would be nice if every now and then they had open dancing. My favorite line dancing bar back at home in TN had a great mix of line dancing and free dancing, which was cool for those who don’t know all the dances. I’ll definitely be back, can’t wait to add another dance so I can get on the dance floor.

I’ve been invited to come to In Cahoots for some time now, and I finally made it in. For 6:30 on a Thursday night, this place was pretty busy. That being said, with cheap drinks and a big dance floor for line dancing, I can really see why. They also have a steak dinner deal that comes with a small beer for $ 7. I’m not sure if this is a deal they offer every Thursday night, but if I’m ever looking for a cheap meal and buzz, I’ll definitely keep In Cahoots in mind. I just wish I liked country music…

One of those stars is specifically for the blonde serving the Jell-O shots. She was very nice and helped me get food. And what she suggested was good :) but what I’m severely disappointed with is I came out with friends(gonna be the DD) I asked for water at the bar & they charged me 2 dollars, claiming bottled is all they serve. I have never in my life been to a establishment that would not give me water without a charge after I paid cover to come in. Also the dancing is great but you could deff feel like a outsider, they are fast & no one really wants to show you. So that sucks, you could tell who the regulars are.

Just got denied for wearing flops with my wife. Then while waiting for a cab the door waiter let a lady in with flops on. Boo. Sucks.

What can I say about this place, it’s a blast! I used to work here in my 20s promoting J&B liquor and now love going in my 40s, its just as fun as ever. You could go with a group of girls and dance the night away and have fun all night. I highly recommend this place wether you like country music or not I don’t even know how to dance the dances and I still have a blast. Big Mike the manager, has always been courteous friendly and gone out of his way to make sure me and my crew have a great time. If you looking for a good time and fun with friends I highly recommend this establishment!

3 stars= average. I’m not the biggest country music fan but this restuarant/bar is pretty fun. It’s fairly cheap but has a cover on certain nights and its huge. The service is hit or miss, sometimes it’s great, sometimes they’re completely rude. I prefer going when it’s not too busy because when it’s packed it’s just loaded with military guys with something to prove. All in all, it’s a fun establishment and it has pool tables.

On Wednesday nights they have a $ 2.75 «you call it» which is a good deal but I didn’t like the fact that they had a $ 10 cover charge. And when I asked for their house Apple sauce shot, the bartender didn’t know how to make it…

This is was not the best experience. I came here on a Saturday night for my bachelorette party and the service was great! The drinks were light handed and the dancing was insane, and not in a good way! The dances were not a simple they were full on choreographed dancing and it just made it not fun for the whole night everything is choreographed. There was no freestyle dancing at all it was very uniform. There was not enough room on the dance floor. I would never go back here!!! THEYCHARGEFORWATER!!! There was no option for tap. They only sold bottled water! And if I’m drinking I go through a ton of water I just think it’s very wrong to charge somebody unless you want them to get alcohol poisoning. The waitress told us that they charge for water because people were coming to dance and not drinking so they were coming every Saturday and the bar was making no money!!!

I really like coming here with my girl friends for a mellow night out. They have line dancing lessons at 6:30 if you want to learn. They have a good happy hour and some nights there’s no cover fee. The only thing I don’t really like is how crowded the dance floor is sometimes, too many people for the floor. It has an upstairs area to play pool or watch the dancers from above. Overall the bar has a good country feel, and it’s pretty fun.

I went here for a bachlorette party and it was a HOOT, get it? Maybe that was lame. But this is a super cute, fun place with very friendly staff! They have this shot called the«Applesauce» and by golly does it taste like applesauce! I don’t really make it down to San Diego. or line dance for that matter, but I would to come here with my girlfriends!

Haven’t been here in about 3 years. This place was always great back then for $ 2.50 you call its on Wednesday night. So of course we came here again on a Wednesday night this time around. Showed about around 2130 and they still charge $ 10 cover fee(cash). It really bugs me when BARS charge for a cover. Anyway, when we first showed up the crowd was a good size but not TOO packed. Went up to the bar to realize that drinks are now $ 2.75 on Wednesday nights. Drinks are okay, nothing crafty or special but you can’t expect much. The vibe is pretty cool but you have you select folks who you can obviously tell are judging you if you’re not dressed like you’re in Lake Side. They have a variety of music but the problem with that is they line dance to EVERY song. Biggie came on and they were line dancing -.- The service here is hit or miss. I had some great help and the beginning and then towards the end had HORRIBLE if not the worst service I ever had. We were outside leaning on the bar for about 4 minutes and my girlfriend calls for the bartender and she literally looks at my girlfriend with a annoyed face then looks away to do somthing on her register. THEN has the audacity to help someone she just seen walk to the bar. Then helps about 3 more people who just walk up then my friend calls her again politely«ma’am!» Then she tells him to «HOLDON!». Idk what kind of night this girl was having but she really was being very disrespectful. I believe her name is «Jessie» well at least that’s what the bar back told me. She’s the one who wishes she looked like Megan Fox. Overall if you’re broke and need a place to drink on a Wednesday night, just go somewhere else. This place is not next to anything and really isn’t ALLTHAT.

So, maybe I am extremely biased, since I used to live in Nashville, however if your going to claim to be a country bar, then you need a few extra elements this plCe was definitely missing, cues could be taken from Broadway in Nashville… There is a cover charge, seriously, Nashville the home of country music has COUNTLESS bars with live music and dancing and there is NO cover charge. cover charge is sooo not southern, or country, secondly the staff, we’re super rude, in the South we are polite, please take note. Also, at a REAL country bar, there may be some line dancing, but the dance floor opens up for just regular country dancing that is not rehearsed. This place was a gross disappointment, from the stupid cover charge to the rude staff, We will NEVER go back, and as a former Nashville resident, this place is a sorry imitation of country. P. s. I was not even REMOTELY drunk.

I love this place, I’ve been coming here at least once a week for about 3 years now. The lessons are fun, the people are nice, everyone is there to have a good time. Don’t be afraid to try some line dances, most people will help you out, unless it’s crazy crowded on the floor, then maybe wait for a different song, nobody likes getting bumped into over and over again! I’ve seen some bad reviews on here about the management, specifically how they wouldn’t let someone in for, in their eyes, a minor infraction, in reality it’s usually for being so drunk they can’t manage their own behavior. Let me tell you, that’s exactly why this is the only bar I will go to by myself. The management doesn’t let obnoxious drunks in, or let them stay. They look out for jerks on the dance floor, too, when it’s really crowded. No drunk guys«accidentally» bumping into women on the dance floor. It’s a safe, fun place.

Normally I am not one for the bar scene, but found In Cahoots to be a lot of fun and not too hardcore for a newbie like me. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and felt comfortable around the clientele present. Just wished the kitchen stayed open a bit later!

I lived in Kentucky for two and a half years and I don’t know of any, let alone been to any country line bars there. Needless to say, I didn’t know what I was getting into! In Cahoots is literally in walking distance of my apartment so I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to check it out. I had a lot of fun! I am not a great dancer to say the least, and I was able to follow along mostly with the lessons and even picked up one routine on the dance floor. Drinks are cheap and everybody was really nice and willing to teach you the steps if you didn’t know what you were doing. A really fun place to spend a weekday or weekend night!

Let’s start by saying I am NOT a country fan. By any means. I only know one Country song and I haven’t stepped inside of a bar in ages. But I was dragged there last night by two guy friends who were obviously thirsty for college girls on their early twenties. He promised I would have fun because I like to dance so I went along. Well, it was college night so the place was packed with kids. Or super duper old men. They dance with all the young chicks, it’s fun to watch. Beers and drinks were $ 2.75. I mean, $ 2,75!!! You can’t really beat that. That makes it the cheapest night out ever, so I appreciated that. My friend was right about me having fun. Although I’ve never line danced before, just by watching all those people i was quite entertained. How in the world that have a line dance for every song under the sun? Do they sleep and live there to learn all that?! It’s crazy and VERY intimidating for newbies like me. I love to dance and feel usually very confident on my dancing skills but for the first time didn’t want to risk the dance floor. Waitress was young and very flirty to my tall and handsome friend, kinda funny considering he is probably twice her age. Service was decent, music wasn’t so loud to the point we couldn’t talk. We didn’t try the food so I can’t speak for that but overall I had fun. It’s a great spot for country fans, assuming it was packed, and for people like me with open mind and stepping out of the comfort zone. I even want to go back for the lessons.

my friend and I are here for the line dance lessons. Got here at 6 pm so no cover. We grabbed a table by the dance floor had the turkey burger with veggies. You can have veggies or sweet potato fries. Burger was good but they did not give many veggies. Service was a little slow but maybe it was because they just opened. We did both the 6:30&7:30 lessons. I definitely need to practice but it sure was fun. The younger crowd started rolling in around 9 pm so we left. Until then there was a mix of all ages over 21. I was looking for a new hobby and I think I’ve found it.

One time I had a choice between dancing at In Cahoots for 30 minutes or being on time for a casual volunteering gig. I chose the former and tried to pay the $ 6 cover charge with credit card. No cigar: cash only or ATM with a surcharge of $ 2.75. Then I dug up all my quarters plus some loose ends(two dimes and a nickel) that are usually reserved for parking meters, but management doesn’t allow change other than quarters. I can understand that change is hasslesome but dude. I decided to go volunteering. + Strict IDs. 21 only + Dress code lenient for women, strict for men + Parking plentiful and free + Location stellar: the best shops like robek’s and chipotle nearby + Dance calendar posted on the website. 630 and 730pm. — Bottled water is $ 2. But I’ve seen a person drink out of the faucet so technically water is free if you want it. — Closed Mondays — Dance floor can be crowded! Tuesdays are my favorite because it’s not as crowded, pool tables are free, there is no cover and drinks are $ 3! There is also karaōke, but that’s later on in the night. To note, Tuesdays, Thursday, and Sundays are free. All the friends I’ve brought have been new to line dancing and western bars and they have all enjoyed their stay. To the naysayers, all the western bars are going to have line dances you’re unfamiliar with. Just get on the dance floor. Other bars have random pop thrown in, the parking is just terrible, the crowd isn’t as friendly, or they have dance lessons to songs that never get played ever! Stampede in Temecula just doesn’t compare, even though the dance floor is bigger, and I can say that this In Cahoots is quite a bit more fun than the Fullerton location. I LOVE the atmosphere here, the regulars are pretty rad, the dance lessons are at a good pace and relevant, and the music is spot on. Just an overall fantastic establishment — can’t wait to be back!

Overall the bar is great! Lots of dancing, plenty of room, lots of girls. The security was good and not pushy or rude. The only issue was at the end of the night when the owner or gm was out front SCREAMING at everyone! This guy lost his shit! Tall skinny white guy. Older. Literally screaming at all of the cars in the parking lot. Threatening and being a real asshole. That’s the reason for only 3 stars. You don’t treat your customers like that. They just came to your place to spend money and have fun. Dude was a complete asshole. I had a fun time last night but won’t ever go back because of his shitty attitude. I have a video of the whole thing
