Established in 1992.

Southern State Insurance Services (Southern State Inc.), was founded in 1991 by Victor Smadi with a single location in West Covina. Since then, we have grown and expanded to 25 locations all over Southern California and San Diego. Still family owned and operated, we specialize in auto, home owners, commercial auto, general liability, renters insurance, motorcycles, RV’s, boats, jet ski’s, and more. We are very much local to San Diego, and have been providing various insurances, especially car insurance in San Diego for more than 15 years now.

I have worked in the insurance field for over 15 years. I have been with Southern State Insurance Services going on 3 years and have always worked in the San Diego office because we live nearby. Before going into the insurance field, I worked for 5 years as a paralegal.
