We specialize in flooring installations in hardwood, laminate, tile and carpet. In addition, we also do custom stair design, refinish and stain of wood floors, repairs, demolitions, and baseboard service.

History

Established in 2014.

In 2013, Jose «JC» Casillas hit his 10^th year anniversary working in the industry as a Flooring Installer. That’s when he decided that it was time to start his own business. With the full support of his wife and her professional administrative skills, he became a licensed contractor and successfully established JC Flooring & Design in 2014. It’s a fully operated and family-​owned business serving San Diego county.

Business Owner

JC was born in the beautiful state of Nayarit, Mexico, and migrated to Tijuana, Baja California at a very young age. Upon graduating high school, he moved to San Diego, California to start a new and better life. He found work right away in the construction industry as a Roofer for a local company. He spent the next four years installing and repairing roofs on residential properties, which is no easy task. From becoming a Helper to a Lead Foreman, he ran his own crew to get projects completed. Although he was making a living doing such a tough job, his heart was not in roofing.

Through a friend, JC heard about an opportunity in flooring. He decided to give it a try, and has not gone back since then. JC finally found what he loves to do: creating living and working spaces with beautiful and long-​lasting flooring.
