THEMOSTAWFULCUSTOMERSERVICEINTHEWORLD!!! To start with the salesperson was annoying and asked me to buy the mattress pad like at least 25 times and I said no. Then we got 0% financing which was great but they wouldn’t accept my fiancées ID so we had to go to the dmv first and come back the next day. We go back Saturday and finalize it. We were told same day delivery and received a call saying it would be delivered between 6 – 10. They show up at 9:30 and start putting our bed together only to tell us 30 minutes later they didn’t have the hardware to do so. We called customer service and they promised us they would have someone bring up the hardware and finish delivery on Sunday morning(by 3). The day goes by and we hear nothing so we call them only to hear that it wouldn’t be delivered until 4 – 10. We decided just to go o Home Depot and buy screws and do it ourself!

My husband and I bought a sofa and love seat in January 2015, just 4 months ago, and they are both falling apart already. To start at the beginning… In the store, the sales man told us that his parents had the same set that we were buying and that it was 5 years old and in GREAT shape. That MUST have been a lie… We purchased the set(The Riley), and had to wait 3 weeks for them to be available. We decided to pick them up instead of paying to have them delivered. They came in large boxes and wrapped in plastic inside the boxes. When we unboxed and unwrapped them inside the house, one of the armrests had a tear in the fabric. I called Jeromes the next day and they scheduled a tech to come out and fix the tear in the fabric. When the tech came it was his first day on the job and he had no idea what he was coming to fix. He did not have a needle and thread to fix the couch, so they had to schedule another service call. Another tech came out and stitched the tear. Why didn’t I do it myself? I wanted to establish a record that the furniture came damaged, and I am glad that i did! Fast forward to now, and both the sofa and the love seat have multiple tears at the seams where the fabric is just coming apart. We asked for our money back so that we could go and get couches at another store of our choosing. Apparently, Jeromes has an «All sales are Final» policy, so if you buy crappy furniture, they will not refund your money. They are giving us store credit for the cost of the couches, and a 5% discount on whatever we select. While I appreciate the gesture, after having couches that have fallen apart after just 4 months, I would much rather get my money back so that I can spend it where I want. I will say that both of the people that we have spoken to about this issue were pleasant, however, neither were able to resolve this to our satisfaction, hence the 2 stars instead of 1. When customers spend their hard earned $$ in your store, and the product is this bad, there should be exceptions available to the store policy of «all sales final». I was told that I Would have to file a «grievance» through corporate to even have a chance of getting a full refund. Terrible! I also submitted an honest review about the sofa(The Riley) on the Jeromnes website, and wouldn’t you know, they did not post it to their website. It would seem that they ONLY post the positive reviews. I would not call that honesty in business. So future buyers beware, if you are shopping at Jeromes and your furniture is defective, you will not get your $$ back, they will make you purchase something else from their store.
