Joshua Michael Davis

I worked with Joshua last year when he created my logo, business card, and website. I honestly can’t say enough good things about my experience with him. Coming into the process, I had no idea what I was doing, and without Joshua’s expertise, direction (and occasional coaxing) the design of my product would be far inferior to what it is today.
When I approached Joshua about working together, our initial conversation was about the hope I had for my product. After he got a feel for what I was trying to accomplish, we talked about the services he could offer, and he was very accommodating (especially concerning my limited budget). For instance, the contract we agreed upon stated that he would provide three initial designs, and from there we would choose one that I liked to go forward with. However, when me and Joshua met again, he had created numerous designs to share with me. Even after we decided on a specific direction, he would still indulge my desire to tweak the design (Although, I’ll bashfully admit that usually after he showed me the desired changes, it was clear that his vision was better).
In the end, that might be the most valuable aspect of working with Joshua: His vision. Once I explained my concept to him, he was off and running with great ideas. The website for my product is far better than I could have anticipated, simply because Joshua had a clear vision for the design and helpful tips for how the content could work more seamlessly with the design. And while plenty of designers have great vision, most do not have the discernment to know when to indulge a client’s whims, and when to ask the client to trust them. Every time Joshua asked me to trust him, it paid off, and so from now on, whenever I need design work done, Joshua is the man I’ll trust.

. I have had him do some updating since the original build and he has done great follow up work in a timely manner. And overall, Josh was great to work with. He was personable, friendly, and patient. As a client, I was unsure of what I wanted along the way and Josh was helpful in guiding me. I highly recommend him!
