As a kid I was always led into the realm of creativity from playing piano at the age of 5 to not being able to color in my big sisters coloring book because I wouldn’t stay between the lines. So I made my own lines. drew my own pictures. Extremely hyper as a kid, a pen and paper was my only medicine. I started making movies when I was 15, my mother and step father received a used camcorder as a wedding gift, they never used it and told my sister and I to stay away from it. «This doesn’t work» she said as I watched them push it into the back of the hallway closet. Those words «do not touch» pushed me into that closet. When mother was away I would sneak out that camera and ideas, ideas, ideas. I would gather the whole neighborhood of my peers and cousins over to make movies, I had everything planned. Throughout my years in the navy my creativity evolved into several different entities, from tattoos to clothing design, to photography and poetry.
