Junk MD is San Diego’s première junk removal and hauling company. The junk doctors have been operating in San Diego since 2005. We are a locally owned and operated junk removal business that is trying to make a difference in San Diego. Not only by getting rid of your unwanted junk items, but also helping out some local charities. (5% of all profits are donated to 1 of 5 local charities)

You name it we haul it. Furniture, appliances, construction debris, trash removal, office furniture, foreclosure clean-​out, rubbish removal, refrigerator removal, garage clean out. Just to name a few.

We are San Diego’s junk removal experts. We provide service to all of San Diego, La Jolla, Clairemont, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Scripps Ranch, Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Downtown, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Coronado, La Mesa, UTC, Mira Mesa, Sorrento Valley. History

Established in 2005.

We may have the strangest story of how this business got started. In brief, this business began when the owner wanted a dump truck. He thought it would be cool to have one but his wife said «no way». He decided that if he started a junk removal business it would validate him owning a dump truck and his wife would have to agree to him owning one. True Story. Give us a call, even if it ‘s just to hear the story in full. It’s really quite funny, ask for Rob. 7 years later, we’re still here hauling junk, donating money to charities form our junk jobs and just trying to do our part to give back to San Diego.

Jay has been with the company for 4 years now. He started out in the junk truck doing the day in day out hauling. Now he oversees all of JunkMDs operations. Jay and JunkMD are very active with the local La Jolla community doing street and beach cleanups.

These guys are terrific! Contracted Junk MD to clear out the storage unit full of decayed inventory entailing of approximately 16,000 pieces. They were able to remove all the items and return the storage unit into its original condition in less than four hours. While working on the job, we came into a potential pitfall regarding how we would get thousand pound pallets into the truck. I was at a loss, I figured that there would be no way around having to expend many more additional hours of tedious backbreaking labor. But right before my frustration completely overwhelmed me, Junk MD ingeniously engineered a strategy that utilized a lift gate from another truck and 2, two by fours, that served as a makeshift palette conveyance system. Their team is very organized, two guys were up in the storage unit while the other two were downstairs working in the truck, which resulted in a very cohesive and efficient working environment. There was literally no «downtime». Everyone was gainfully employed.
Junk MD is on my short list of outstanding contractors in the SD area. I recommend that you give them a call when you are need of a removal/​hauling service.

Looked thru Unilocal for junk removal services. The reviews of junk md led me to call to schedule an estimate. The guys came over when they said they would which is gave me much confidence that the job would be done. I agreed to the estimate which was very reasonable considering how much junk I had. I first called a different junk removal company to pick up an old couch but they would not come up to my area in Cardiff and they recommended I try JunkMD. For Mother’s Day this year, all my mom wanted was the family to do yard work. Well, we accomplished a TON that day, leaving us with a TON of greenery to haul away and no truck big enough for the job.
Junk MD was the solution to our problem! Dave answered our call with a super friendly and professional attitude and was able to schedule a junk pickup right away. On the pick up day, our mountain of greens was cleaned up in less than 45 minutes. Very impressed with the overall service, price, professionalism and genuineness of these guys. When I was moving out, even Salvation Army wouldn’t take my stuff. I was flying out of town the next day and I knew the apartment owner would charge me through the roof to remove my belongings if he had to do it. Dave was able to accommodate a same day request to haul out an old mattress and some pallets. The price was great and he was professional and super nice.

These gentlemen showed up bright and early at the office, with bright smiles and bulging biceps, to remove a dinosaur of a printer. It was gone in seconds… I wouldn’t have minded them saying a bit longer, though ;)
