Turned off when she started bashing her other clients. Found someone else who provides excellent lashes cheaper, faster & with better customer service skills.

Aileen is simply the best! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her job and she strives to bring the best services to everyone. She only uses the best supplies on your delicate eyes and skin. She has great technique and soft hands. Whereas with others you might feel every bit of work they do with heavy hands, with Aileen you hardly feel a thing! And the best part is when she’s finished, you still don’t feel a thing! She’ll ensure that your lashes are not sticking together and that you feel comfortable. If something is ever not up to your expectations, she’s genuinely concerned and does her best to investigate the issue. You get what you pay for with her, and if someone’s messing with your eyes, I dont know about you but I’d only want the best!
I get synthetic mink lashes and lip sugaring done from her. I’ve been going to her for at least 2 years.

Shhhhhhhhhhh, I didn’t – I wake up every morning with long pretty lashes because of Aileen. I have been getting my lashes done for the past decade. I use to drive up to Costa Mesa to get my lashes done from SD but thank god I found Aileen! I found her randomly on Unilocal and had actually booked with another lash place for my wedding but my gut told me I needed to get my lashes done by Kailani Blue. I some how got an appointment last minute and the rest is history! She is incredibly professional, she will not extend any lashes that will cause damage, she uses great products, and she is quick! Best lashes in SD!

Aileen does beautiful magnificent eyelash magic! Her work truly speaks for it self. You may have heard of her because when ever someone speaks of eyelash horror experiences they come to her to fix their nightmare!

I’ve had terrible experiences with lash extensions in the past– and after seeing many of her clients look amazing and rave about her i finally made an apt! My eyes are on the sensitive side so she recommended the new silk volume lashes. I got the FULL set and I’m telling you– the lashes are so light weight that i can’t even feel them! I can’t believe how comfortable they are and more importantly how gorgeous they are! Since i have gotten them i hardly wear makeup anymore, i love it! Aileen truly is a lash goddess– and I’m hooked!

After having eyelash extensions done at other places, I am a devoted customer of Aileen of Kailani Blue. She does the best extensions. There is no upsell or fill «club» to join. The whole process is pleasant and is not high pressure. Aileen is sweet and pleasant and will give you the look you want. Parking is right out front and free to customers. Get your lashes and fills done here and you will not be sorry !

I have incredibly sensitive skin… prone to ingrown hairs, and breakouts… all kinds of yucky stuff. So I was weary about getting a Brazilian done because the LAST place I’d want any of that to occur was down there.
I did some reading up on different waxing methods and found Sugaring. Supposedly, it’s a lot gentler on the skin and you are less prone to break out or get ingrown hairs. There are a lot of places in San Diego that offer sugaring, so it was just a matter of which place to pick.
Made several appointments at various places… but none of them really had availability that I was looking for… until I came across the site for Kailani Blue. I decided this must be fate because she has an appointment on a SUNDAY… this is perefect!
This was my FIRST Brazilian… never even had a bikini wax done… and Aileen made it so NOT awkward. We were chatting it up the entire time… laughing and having good conversation. There were a couple of times where I had to take a breath because OUCH! But her method definitely seemed a lot better than regular waxing methods even sound.
I decided to wait about a week before writing a review because I wanted to see how my skin reacted to the wax… and WOW. Baby smooth… no ingrown hairs… no irritation… not even the day of, when i went to a superbowl party immediately after. I am definitely impressed. If it doesn’t irritate MY skin, then that’s a miracle. I don’t even want to try any other places or any other methods because I just don’t even want to risk it. I found something that’s PERFECT for me, and I’m going to stick with it. In fact, I’m going to make my follow up appointment online right now!
Go see Aileen… she’s the cutest thing ever, super easy to get along with… and good at what she does! I never write reviews, but she definitely earned it. Thank you Aileen!

aileen is still the bests!

So… no one wants to share their utmost beauty secret, Aileen’s Lash Extensions, therefore I will.
Despite being booked weeks ahead, I am surprised to find out that Aileen only has less than a dozen Unilocal reviews — something I totally understand, I wouldn’t want everyone to know how I can have such amazing lashes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, after swimming, after showering — my lashes have withstand it all.
First of all, the lashes — boy, did those lashes feel real, they were light, soft — and seriously felt like my own! When friends ask me about my lashes, I would tell them it’s my real lash, then telling them to touch my lash, and when they do, they say, «Oh my god! Those ARE your real lashes!» Of course then I tell them the truth, and everyone pulls out their iPhone and searches for Aileen on Unilocal.
Also, Aileen uses different lengths of lashes on different parts of your eye, longer on the outside, shorter on the inside — to really mimic what real lashes would look like on a person.
Second, the price — CHEAP. Read my other review on «Lash Bar» in Burlingame, CA (who charges $ 250/​each time, regardless if you have any lashes left). Aileen counts how many lashes you still have from last time you went in, then charges you PER additional lash she puts on your eye. I have never, ever met anyone who would do that. And the best part, I’ve paid $ 150 tops for a full set at Aileen’s — since I like it simple and natural looking. You can’t even get that with a Groupon Deal (which by the way, don’t use them — seriously, save on other things, but it’s your lashes, do you really want some amateur to ruin them?)
Third, the service — Aileen is genuine, truly, truly genuine. She listens, she gets it — she laughs with you, she shares cute stories about Handsome and Pretty (her two super cute Maltipoo), and she cares about you. I’ve probably been to Aileen nearly a dozen times now, and she would still remember things I’ve told her months ago. With a busy schedule like hers, it means alot to me to have someone like Aileen, who cares enough to remember these intricate details about their clients.
Fourth, the waxing — have you had sugaring? If not, it’s time to make you a convert. My brazilian lasted 2 and ½ months, and zero in-​grown hair. Amazing. It’s called «the Keiki», which means the «Kid» — how creative!
Lastly, I just want to say thank you for everything, Aileen — my lashes are stunning. I am a fan forever!

Ahhhh…she fixed my hot mess from a different place & I practically floated out of the place on these butterfly wings attached to my ojos. When I woke up the next morning, I couldnt believe my eyes… like LITERALLY… MY EYES! I had lush long n thick lashes. Ooo La La!!!

Aileen is the very best at lash extensions! She did my lashes for my wedding and they were amazing, and I just had them redone again to treat myself for the holidays. I would highly recommend going to Aileen. Not only is she one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, her prices are very reasonable, and she is quick.

Aileen is AMAZING! I go for the advanced sugaring and get «The Keiki». She makes ya feel like you’ve known her forever and no awkward silence through the process. I read some reviews of the regular waxing and hear of bruising and ripped hair but sugaring is completely different. Hairs are removed in the direction of growth so I think that reduces the pain and it grows out MUCH thinner. I would recommend her to anyone that is into waxing to give her a try.

I had lash extensions when they first came to the masses 5 or so years ago. I loved them but took a break from wearing them. I decided it was time once again to go the extension route and looked for someone nearby to do them. I found Kailani Blue and am so glad I did. Aileen is so sweet and does such a wonderful job. She asks all the right questions and the end result is perfect. I decided to go with 80 lashes on each eye and they look full, long, natural, and last. If you are considering lashes I highly recommend Kailani Blue.

Worth my drive in the rain to LIttle Italy. Worth the traffic on the way there, and extremely worth my month & a half of not getting my eyelashes done because now I have a brand new beautiful set of natural and light eyelashes! So like, I was going to another eyelash boutique, which I loved at first, but then ended up having my eyelashes fall out from being stuck together. From a friend who has beautiful lashes, I was referred to Aileen at Kailani Blue. I originally was going to go in for just a fill, but since its been so long since my last fill, I opted for a brand new set. The lashes she uses are much softer and lighter than the ones I had before, and Aileen told me why a lot of mine ended up falling out before. They were too heavy & the curl didn’t match my natural eye lash, so it didn’t stay on very long.
She has a room in Summers Salon on India Street. Her prices are very reasonable compared to the rest of the places I’ve found on Unilocal,and her work is amazing.
She also does body sugaring (for you sweet gals), facials, & most of all, these bad boys on my eyes right now. Love it.

So I’ve never heard of body sugaring until two years ago… and boy was it a great discovery! A good friend of mine referred me to Kailani Blue and I’ve loved it ever since! She told me that it was the same concept as waxing, except less pain, less hair growth and fewer visits… all-​in-​all I was sold!
