Business Owner

Andreas serves as the Executive Chairman and co-​founder of Katana. Andreas oversees the company’s overall strategy and client implementations. A 17-​year digital and advertising veteran, Andreas Roell currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Advertising Federation, the largest advertising trade association in the World.

Prior to founding Katana, Andreas was the co-​founder and Chief Executive Officer at EGM Worldwide. In this capacity, Andreas partnered with leading Arabic entertainment companies to develop the regions’ largest video-​on-​demand platform in the region. The company was acquired in 2013 by Rotana Media Group, Arab’s largest media conglomerate.

Prior to 2012, Andreas was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Geary Group, a global digital agency. Over the course of his 12 year tenure, he took the agency from inception to making its fourth largest independent search agency globally with offices in North America, Asia, Europe and over 250 employees wo
