I wouldn’t give them any stars if it was possible, as they didn’t get my business. I was so aggravated with the moron who was trying to «help» me that I had him take my car off the lift and I took my business elsewhere.
The attitude of the guy I talked to is what bothered me, it was as if I was a hassle. I went in for a very specific purpose: I had just finished swapping the engine in my 91′ Toyota Celica and needed my exhaust pipe extended to mate up to my catalytic converter. They tried to up sell me a new flex pipe to replace the already installed one, and acted as though I was a moron because I’m a younger guy in my twenties driving a Japanese coupe. This place is a joke, go to American Muffler over on Raytheon, you’ll be happier all around. I paid $ 80 less than what these guys quoted me, got friendly service and it was done fast.
My first hint should have been their empty parking lot and lack of business.

Prints misleading ads in the paper. The price is double of what they advertise.

Brought girlfriend’s Toyota Rav4 for service on 2 occasions over an 8 month period. Once for an ignition problems. The other for emission contol issues.
I’m a shadetree mechanic but just didn’t have the time to take care of her car myself.
Fast and reasonably priced would be my description of Kearny Hi-​Tech. And, unlike other shops I’ve been to I don’t worry about being up-​sold on other unnecessary services some shops use to bolster their bottom line.

Never go here for repairs you will be over charged and you will get substandard service. Stay away.
