Keith Mahler Physical Therapist & Associates is dedicated to providing high quality, results-​oriented rehabilitation services to our patients. We specialize on isolating patients’ causative dysfunctions and correcting them accordingly. In addition to using manual techniques to correct aberrant motions and relieve pain, we focus on educating patients on maintaining the changes gained in therapy through adjustments in activities of daily living and proper use of therapeutic exercises. Our manual therapy techniques are evidence-​based, and we employ only highly trained, motivated therapists who are committed to continuing education. We treat patients of all ages, whose impairments result from sports overuse, acute trauma, post-​surgery, degenerative and neurological disease.

History

Established in 2007.

In the last 4 years, Keith Mahler Physical Therapist & Associates has added the pneu weight partial body weight system and neurocom balance master system, to enable patients to perform ambulatory and balance rehabilitation in a safe, controlled environment.

This is an outstanding place for PT. It’s not a factory, it’s just Keith, an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled practitioner. He gives you his undivided attention and truly wants you to feel better, and he shows you how. Easy place to get to, parking, good office hours.
You cannot go wrong here and won’t be disappointed.

I searched on Unilocal & found this place for therapy for my 76 year old Mom. Before my Mom go here her knees hurt really bad & it’s very painful for her to walk. Just after a few sessions here she is so happy now, she has allot less pain & can walk very well now. She also has noticed a difference with pain in her hip & lower back is allot less also. I highly recommend anyone looking for therapy to go here and try. Keith & his staff are truly amazing, Thank You.

I had been to a couple of other physical therapists prior to Keith. They do not compare. After my knee surgery, I decided to try a different office for PT. My doctor led me to Keith Mahler and I could not be happier. Keith’s personal attention and articulated road to recovery are what sets him apart. He is not juggling multiple patients during visits, which ensures you are getting the attention you need to get back on your feet. Keith explains, in detail (sometimes too much), why you are doing what you are doing and how everything works in conjunction. Since coming to this office, I feel 10x times better and more confident in my movements, despite the injury. A big kudos and thanks to Keith Mahler and his office!

Keith Mahler and his team are the best! He not only helped me with my immediate knee pain, but taught me great techniques for bending, moving and exercising to keep my knee – and the rest of my body! – healthy and flexible. He worked at a pace that was right for me, and took time to explain what we were doing and why. He was a storehouse of the most current/​relevant information in the field, and was always patient and spot-​on in responding to my questions with helpful advice. I feel that I got much more from this experience than I could have anticipated. In addition, Keith’s enthusiasm and solid professional approach motivated me to ACTUALLY USE what I had learned after I left treatment. In the world of PT, I can’t think of a better recommendation than that.

Keith was referred to me by 2 different doctors, which alone should tell you something. I’ve been seeing him since like 2007 or so, back when he was in his La Jolla location. The new location is much more convenient. He has fixed so many different problems with my body… wrists, knees, back, neck… it’s amazing — I’m totally healed, and quickly!

Keith and team are phenomenal. I took my daughter after she had her first laproscopic knee surgery and went to 2 other PTs and was not getting any better. Keith had her back on her feet and on the volleyball and basketball courts. She never felt better! Keith explained things to her like no one else did. My daughter now wants to be an Orthopedic surgeon!!! Thank you so much Keith and team. I could go on and on… But we trust you with our family! Can’t get much better recommendation!
