We started looking for our first home back in February, and finally found what we were looking for (and could afford) in September. It was a long search, and one we could not have done without the positivity, encouragement and patience of Keith. I’d like to add that Keith is an old coworker and friend, so he was a natural choice as our realtor for me, but my husband hadn’t met him until now. I already had confidence in Keith’s knowledge, integrity and great work ethic. But my husband was definitely equally satisfied with his performance. Keith helped us explore every nook of San Diego giving us helpful insight to each neighborhood. He also added wonderful comedic commentary along the way. Keith explained every last detail to us and answered all of my questions — there were many, and probably many dumb ones as well! Keith was extremely patient and never pressured us into something that wasn’t right. Ultimately it was apparent he wanted us to be happy in our new home, and we are very grateful for all of his help.

Keith is awesome! Not only is he a great realtor, he’s also a great human being. He went above and beyond what his role required when my parents and I bought their place. He made us feel super comfortable with the constant follow ups and updates. After the home closed he still contacted us to check on us. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he is. definitely recommends him to everyone!

My wife and I started looking into buying a home here in San Diego. Having Keith as our realtor has been so helpful. He is really patient with our busy schedules and always willing to help us see homes when we get freed up from work. We landed in a pinch when our rental home decided to sell and we had to be out in 60 days. We had to rent for another year and it took the pressure off our search. I thought Keith would be disappointed that we postponed purchasing, but his response was that he cared more about us finding the home we love than just selling us a home. Keith Pesta is an honest, trustworthy and fully knowledgable real estate agent. He sold my condo last year after a little over a month of being on the market. He answered every single question and explained the process in terms that I could easily understand. He never pushed me in any direction and gave me his completely honest opinion when I needed it. My condo wasn’t exactly the easiest situation… so I have to explain all the odds against us.
The condo was a conversion in Mission Valley that I purchased 10 years ago on an interest-​only loan. I decided to buy a house and kept it as a rental unit. Eventually the interest-​only loan went variable and I started to go negative. When the housing market took a dive, I pretty much lost my hopes for breaking even at all one day. But I refused to cave in to a short-​sale or foreclosure and just kept losing money on it. After several sets of renters and all the hassles of taking care of a rental unit, the market finally started to come back up again and the condo reached the value of the loan.
Not even thinking about all the details, I decided to sell it and was referred to Keith Pesta to start the process. But there were so many stipulations with the sale of the condo:
1) My current renters had signed a lease agreement that ended in another 4 months. To be considerate to the renter’s privacy and work schedule, viewing hours were really limited. In addition, the condo had to be sold while the renters finished out their lease.
2) There were so many other upgraded units in the complex that were for sale for around the same price that I thought were nicer in my opinion.
3) The HOA fees were over $ 425 monthly
4) An additional roof payment from years ago was tacked on to the HOA fees for $ 95. The remaining loan for the roof was an extra $ 8K which needed to be paid off at purchase.
Keith was persistent and even with all of these outrageous roadblocks, he managed the sell the condo at the asking price and even got a cash offer for it. How does this even happen? I practically broke even. REALLY AMAZING!!!
