Doctor I saw was not Dr. Anderson so you might want to ask if you will see him or another doctor. The main thing I didn’t like was that they only take walk-​ins. I would rather have an appt. I could have avoided a over 2 hour visit. The doctor was nice & spent a good amount of time with me. However, a Rx that was supposed to be sent to my pharmacy never happened. When I called to ask them to call in Rx they didn’t have a record of the doc prescribing it at all. They were supposed to call & check my coverage for physical therapy & call me back & that never happened either. I felt like I was having to do all the work for a simple visit. It doesn’t seem like the communication is very good in the office. If you need urgent care it’s ok but I’m going to look for another primary doctor where I can get an appt.

Excellent service! Always impressed with Dr Anderson and his caring staff! We live overseas and they kept everything reasonable. We have gone to Dr Anderson for over a decade! I also like their hours.

I took my son in this morning because of an injury to his knee. The nurse practitioner who treated him did an excellent job of explaining what was wrong and what he needed to do to get better. She really relieved is mind that he would be ok.
My only negative was that the wait was quite long, but they were very busy so I can understand. Next time I will make an appointment in advance.
While I was waiting, I had on opportunity to hear the interactions at the front desk. One lady in particular, Erica; stood out to me as very impressive. She was checking in patients, handling the phone and teaching other staff about the administration side of the practice, all at the same time. She was calm and professional the entire time. She’s definitely and asset to the practice.

Excellent doctor and support staff! This is a model for how a doctor’s office *should* operate! I have been here many times, when ever I am sick, have a problem, this is where I go! Dr. Anderson is a caring and kind human!

This doctor and his staff are awesome! I just can’t say enough. I don’t have health care and we won’t go into why, but when I found this place, it was the answer to all my problems. I had a non-​emergency medical issue, however, with no insurance in place I literally had no where to seek medical attention. I saw this place in my neighborhood and called. They staff was so very pleasant with the very first call. The staff provided the hours, costs and even advised that the wait was approximately 45 minutes. I was in a lot of pain, so I went there immediately. I didn’t wait that long and everyone, including the x-​ray technician was so sweet and knowledgeable. Dr. Anderson was so nice! He held my hand to assure me that everything was going to be okay. I am a big baby when it comes to doctors/​hospitals etc. He sat down at my level and explained everything in regular terms and didn’t talk over my head. I understood everything and he provided several ways to get better without just writing a prescription and shoving me out the door! Believe me, that has been my experience in the past. The next day or so, his staff called me to see how I was doing and if there was anything I needed. The visit, x-​rays, exam, was minimal in cost. When I finally do obtain medical insurance, they will take my insurance, and this will be my doctor! I am more than happy to recommend this doctor and his office and hope that you find this review helpful!

I called the ofc because they had my ins. co. on their web site. The person said I could come right over. They did not tell me on the phone that it would only be a nurse practitioner until 1:00 when the doc arrives. Then I found out they don’t take HMOs. It would be nice if the ofc would ask more questions before patient takes the time to travel to the ofc. I had a severe foot injury and it was painful and a waste of time and effort.

I first met Dr Anderson at P B Urgent Care about 10 years ago. I knew on that day he would be my doctor for years to come. Now that he’s opened his new office in PB, I followed. Dr Anderson is very knowledgeable, personable and his staff is fantastic. His nurse Lorie Williams is great. She always has a smile on her face. She is cheerful and funny and is great at her job. Thanks for all you do.

I love how great and friendly Christian and Carlos at the front desk are even when I call they always remember who I am! Nurses are wonderful and of course Dr. Anderson is amazing he helped with serious back issues and sees all of my kids! They just love the staff and doc! Military families clinics are normally scary and you wait for ever not here!!! I will never tell anyone to go anywhere else !! Just once and you will love Carlos and Christian and don’t forget to ask for doctor Anderson !!! All of the docs are great

I was a patient of Dr Anderson’s at PB Urgent Care and he was the only reason I went there.
Dr Anderson does an excellent job resolving back pain through adjustment. I’d tell him where where my back or neck hurt, then to determine the cause he’d poke somewhere else on my back that I didn’t even realize was sensitive. Treatment usually involves putting your arms in an odd position and getting a bear hug to snap things back into place. He has helped ever time I needed it. Highly recommended.

This Dr Anderson has the magic touch i sneezed one morning and i totally wrenched my back out i was in severe pain with back spazams and walked in the office like the letter z saw Dr Anderson for about a half hour and i walked out like a new man straight as a arrow he is really great at what he does he really helped me out a lot i highly recommend this Doc for any one who throws out there back i would give him ten stars for what he did for me thanks a lot for your caring service and the office staff was great to Thanks again Rob

Dr. Anderson is the man. This morning I went into his office at 8am I had never been there before and I was seen by 8:15am. Very reasonable and timely considering there were 4 – 5 others there at the same time. I could barely speak, spit or swallow because my mouth was swollen and my gland on the right was super swollen. I had been fighting a bacterial infection all week that kept getting progressively worse. Dr. Anderson gave me a test for strep which came back negative and then asked one of his nurses to give me a shot or two of antibiotics. Then wrote me a prescription for a 10 day treatment of antibiotics. It’s now 11pm (same day) and I feel great. I can talk, eat solid foods swallow etc. Haven’t felt this good in 8 days. Dr. Anderson new exactly what to give me and didn’t waste anytime. I was out the door by 8:50 because I had to wait 15 mins after my shots.
Also as far as pricing is concerned, Very reasonable for someone who doesn’t have any insurance. I also hate going to the doctor like many others, but this expeirence was far better than I had had at my primary care doctors office for years. I would go here again for sure if I get sick and would recommend his practice to anyone. Don’t wait if you’re sick go see doctor A! A+

Dr. Ken Anderson is da bomb! I absolutely love this doctor. He listens, makes fabulous suggestions, is very thorough and understanding. I went to him for a back problem and he «cured» me in a matter of minutes. Brilliant!
Go see him and his urgent care staff for all your medical needs.

Doctor Anderson is great. I teach jiu jitsu in San Diego so I am usually in there when I end up hurting myself which is more than often. Doctor Anderson is the only doctor I go to and have never had a bad experience. He even offers great physical therapy. Even tho I think he is the only doctor there i’ve always been in and out of there with not much of a wait at all. Thank you Doc.

Not only is this the most expensive medical center but they completely lied about the cost of the visit. Once all is said and done, don’t be surprised to get an extra bill in the mail, which was suppose to be covered. Numerous people have had this issue and and apparently they are being investigated for fraud. Additionally, they leave you waiting for long periods of time, continuously forget why you are there, and seem to not care at all. There are plenty of other centers in San Diego. Go to one of them.

I gotta give this guy huge props. Every time i have come in he gets right to the point, makes good suggestions on how to get me feeling better and is thorough. Ive been going here for 8 months now and when i first came in it was for a pain in my back. He checked me out and gave me an adjustment which felt great. Not many drs do that.
Good dr, good staff.
