Kinecta Federal Credit Union

Went here and spoke to Mark? I think. I’ve been a member for over 20 years at Kinecta. Recently moved to SD last year, so when I saw there is Kinecta near by I stopped in. We are looking loans and I figured been here for so long. They’d most likely give us great loan.
I spoke to him in a private room. Gave him my info & some info about my hubby. Now all we need is turn in the paperwork to get the ball rolling. Fingers crossed we can get a plan for our first house/​condo

I would give this bank zero stars if I could. Try calling their customer service line. You won’t get through in less than 15 minutes and that’s on a good day. When I joined this credit union, I did so because it was close to my home. Then within about 2 months they totally pulled out of San Diego. Now I have to do all my banking through the ATM. This was fine with me until I started having some issues with my check card and since then it’s been a nightmare. Every time I need to talk to someone, I am on hold waiting to talk with someone for entirely too long. STAY AWAY SAN DIEGANS!

Kinecta in san diego has pulled out of San diego. They are an LA based company. Because of this work of this arrangement they could not support their loan officers in San Diego. This is a major disadvantage because San Diego has been known as a losing operation for over 2 years. They have gone through 4 different managers. And they’re currently trying to subleasing there location to stop the bleeding.
Because of this breakdown I would not recommend this company for a home in San Diego their rates R super low however good luck getting closed.
They’re good at super clean A+ loans, their FHA requires spotless credit, and they continued to ignore the veterans of this country they refuse to do VA loans.
Please research these issues before you commit to this company. A failing Los Angeles company that thinks San Diego is a strange market.
Do not put yourself at risk.

We use the ATM there. It’s close and convenient. Since it’s a credit union we can use it without getting a fee which is nice. Wished we could also do deposits but glad we can at least get cash. It will also dispense $ 5 bills which is nice.

If you’re looking for a good loan officer in the area, come by and ask for Michael Francisco.
He’s been in the business forever and he’s easy to get along with.
Stop by and give Michael a try! They are a credit union, so their loan fees and interest rates are a lot lower than normal.

This bank is stupid. They won’t let you pay your loan if your debit card doesn’t have a certain ATM logo. STUPID. My ATM card is from a military credit union, has NEVER been rejected… like ever. AVOID this bank. Refinance with a different bank

I don’t use this bank though so not too sure about them…
BUT the fact that they are part of the co-​op network makes them a place I can use whenever I need some cash and I don’t want to drive all the way to my bank… co-​op = no charge to use their ATM if you’re part of the co-​op network

Their ATM gives out $ 5’s and $ 20’s…this means you can get an amount not in increments of $ 20’s. I like it… thought someone else might like it too.
