Awful, careless and rude drivers. One of their drivers sped down a residential neighborhood on the wrong side of street causing me to almost crash into a parked vehicle. The driver blocked some poor guy from exiting his car all the while yelling incoherently at the poor handicapped man and at me when I said he drove like an ass. He then proceeded to speed off exceeding the speed limit by at least 20 miles an hour while still on the wrong side of the road. I recommend using caution if you employ this business or see one of their drivers out on the road. They are reckless and more then likely to cause someone an injury or perhaps something even worst.

I have never used Knox for process service but as far as court filing and delivery, they are certainly the worst attorney service I have used in my 13 years of San Diego legal experience. They spend more time communicating than doing the job, their worker bees are clueless, work order forms are a time consuming pain to generate and don’t work properly a good portion of the time and on top of that they are expensive.

I run an equipment rental company here in San Diego and I use the Knox Copy Center to print manuals for my machines for all my customers. It is super easy to place orders online and upload my files through their website and then they personally hand deliver the finished product for no extra charge (with cookies!). Everything always looks very professional and neat and they don’t charge any rush fees if I need them right away. I recently started sending them our back files to be scanned and converted to disk to save on storage fees with Iron Mountain. Knox provides valuable services to practically any business, not just law firms. The people at Knox, that I’ve dealt with, have been fair, professional and helpful. I also like that the company has been family owned and operated for over 40 years!

First of all, THEY GAVE ME A BAD ADDRESS, I missed my hearing date because they gave me the address of an empty lot instead of the persons residence. They then blamed it on the post office even though they magically found the «right» address after I told them. (BTW the guy doesn’t even live there anymore which I found out yesterday).
I asked them if they would help me re-​serve the person since I paid someone to go serve an empty lot and they pretty much laughed at me, I wish I could play the phone message this guy left me on here. They even have a guy there that serves people out of state and they still made me come out of my pocket because of their mistake. The person I dealt with, let’s call him «Z», said he spoke to the department head and they would not re-​serve my papers or pay for re-​service. HE SAID I WAS LUCKY THAT HE DIDN’T CHARGE ME TO REOPEN THE FILE. Unbelievable and unprofessional. DO NOT USE!!!

All these other reviews seem suspiciously positive. I hope readers know many businesses offer customers free or discounted services in return for a good review. Shameless.
My friend used this crooked organization to try and get a man who had ran him of the road with his car, served with legal papers. My friends was given the wrong address by the company and was offered no help when asking for help from the company again. They refused to cover the costs he incurred based on their misinformation. Do not ever use this company for any service that they offer. They are unfriendly, unreasonable, and do not care about the customer.
What business gives the customer misinformation and poor service and still charges them for it, ON top of trying to charge him more to get this individual served when my roommate already payed for it in the first place.
I will continue to blast this company and expose their shadiness until they are willing to act like adults and professionals and take blame when it is their fault. Knox Attorney Service, expect a report to the BBB as well. Readers, please take these words seriously. I have nothing personal against this firm, only personal experience in seeing them take advantage of my roommate.

Professional, friendly and experienced staff. They handled my service of process and records retrieval orders very quickly and without error. I would definitely recommend their attorney services to any other legal professional. They even have a fully operational copy center in the downtown area as well as a messenger fleet.
