they tried their best for me
the price was not amazing
the workmanship was professional in some areas and some it was sloppy
so i’m hesitant to recommend.
they are not great at calling back either
it takes lots of patience

We had a large heirloom chair and ottoman recovered by Knox a couple of years ago. They were unresponsive to phone messages. They took five months to deliver. They replaced antique brass wheels with big black plastic office casters. They left off the skirts and then accused me of being dishonest about their prior existence. (I had photographs as proof but am still shocked that I had to go through that.) They underestimated the yardage, sending me back to the fabric store for more. And, of course, it ended up costing a whole lot more than was originally quoted.

We paid over $ 800 to put new stuffing in our sofa. Within a few weeks it had completely failed (flattened out). We have called several times but no relief. We reached them on the phone and they replied they would come out to our house, but never did.

We had «Upholstery by Knox» make cushions for our dining room chairs and bench. When I called for an estimate, I spoke to the owner, Anthony. He was very friendly and professional, and sent his son, (also named Anthony), to provide the in-​person estimate, who was also friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
We had not yet picked out a fabric for the cushions, but Anthony suggested an upholstery fabric store, and after visiting both locations we were able to find a fabric almost exactly like we had imagined.
The original estimate was a bit high, but after I had the fabric in my possession, I called back and negotiated and without hassle was able to get them to lower the estimate quite a bit.
They came out right away and picked up the fabric and a chair and the bench, and within a few days I had the furniture back with some really beautiful cushions. The work was excellent, and the cushions looked even better than expected. The quality of work and stitching was amazing. I don’t know much about upholstery and sewing and fabric and all that, but I do know a quality product when I see one. They put a lot of pride and effort into their work, and it shows.
