Krause Hilary, MD

We moved up to Encinitas and still drive down to see Dr. Krause as there is no one that compares… the whole office is amazing. My kids love her, Dr. S, Dr. G, the staff. Cannot say anything bad – wonderful doctors, they have our full trust.

I wrote my first review under a different location (see below), but I see now that Dr. Krause (WHO ROCKS) now has her own Unilocal Profile…
First off, I wouldn’t be going here for so long if this place treated my own flesh and blood poorly or substandard…
Dr. Krause. well, is part of the family. never ever makes you feel rushed, no question is a stupid question… she adapts appropriately to individual scenarios and alternative lifestyles.
Dr. Krause is ALWAYS THERE… it is she whom you will speak with after hours, (or the other on call doctors) not a «triage nurse» appointed to the phone lines, it is a real person…
Dr. Krause is very very precise and relates to my child on the proper level where he is at… the nurses there are very sweet as well.
Please take note of the new office location. Parking is in fact a bear, there is a private lot and you have to pay five bucks cash. bleh… I say park on the street, meter parking, there is a lot near by, these meters do take debit/​credit cards so if you forgot your coins, is a real saver… 1.25 for one hour, 2.50 for two hours… located in beautiful bankers hill neighborhood.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! PRIVATE PRACTICE DOWNTOWN! I was so blessed to have gotten a referral from this place from my pediatrician when I was with Kaiser, I left Kaiser, that place was Hell!!! but this private practice with Dr. GeeLew, Dr. Sepulveda and Dr. Krause is AMAZING! Doctors like the good olé days! They actually call you back, heck, if you call the office and they are in, the receptionist will give them the phone! They are the ones you talk to after hours if your child is sick! AMAZING… I love these pediatricians. God Bless them. If you are looking and you need a pediatrician, go here! Also, the nurses are very personable! Cute private practice in urban downtown across the street from Balboa Park!!! Love this place!

Takes time to listen to my concerns and has even done extra research to find answers for my sons rare medical condition.
Even on Sundays I have always gotten a personal call back k from her within 15 minutes.
The office itself isn’t new or fancy, but the friendliness and responsiveness of all the doctors and the staff more than make up for any lack is aesthetics

I recently had to switch insurance to Kaiser because of some issues with my previous medical insurance. I thought I would be fine with the transition, however, you truly never know what you have until its gone. My kids have had a fair amount of medical issues, and it was so reassuring to have such kind and caring Drs providing medical care for them. Everyone at that office is fantastic. I really miss Dr Krause and Mary, the best pediatric nurse in town. I am hoping next year will be in a position to switch back to a PPO plan because it is horrible going to Drs that do not appreciate the concern a parent has when their children have gone through so much.

I noticed that she had only one review and just had to give her 5 stars. Dr. Krause is knowledgeable, caring and easy to talk to.

Dr. Krause gave us as much time as we needed to talk and ask questions and she treated my son very well. We called one day after hours and one of her partners, Dr. Sepulvita answered the phone. That has never happened with other doctor’s offices, usually we have to leave a message and wait for a call back. We love this group.
