Before we found Kristine we contacted several engagement photographers and they are either not as responsive/​reliable as we would like, professional or their prices are off the chart. We are so glad to have found Kristine, luckily she managed to meet all of our expectations: she is very professional, very responsive and her work is of quality surprisingly for the price she charges.
We never had our pictures professionally taken before and were pretty nervous how this whole thing works, but Kristine totally put our minds at ease through the whole process from the first phone call to the day we received our final edited photographs. She answered tons of questions via emails in a timely manner and put us at ease with our concerns. She was there for us from the beginning to end. She gives excellent directions on the day of the shoot, she is super quick and knows exactly what she need from us to get that great shot.
Kristine is also very accommodating. We had to change the date on her last minute and she was able to squeeze us in her busy schedule. By the way, we got our beautiful edited photographs way ahead of her turnaround time, how awesome is that! Hire Kristine! You will not regret it!

From the moment I emailed her all the way through getting our online album of engagement photos, Kristine was so easy to work with. She responds to questions quickly and thoroughly, and she has a knack for putting people at ease throughout the photographing process. We were nervous going into our engagement session, but that quickly went away (thanks to Kristine), and we ended up having a great time! Our pictures turned out so beautiful!

We have loved working with Kristine so far. The interview and booking processes were simple and easy. The photos from our Engagement shoot were phenomenal and we’ve gotten so many compliments on them. We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. We knew from the moment we met Kristine that she was the photographer for us. It was meant to be just like our marriage.
A few of my friends warned me that their photographers took FOREVER to get their images to them. One of my friends said here took a whole year! That was one of the things we really loved about Kristine. She was very professional and got us the images on both the engagement pics and wedding in weeks!
She is fast, but the images definitely did not suffer. Our pictures were so amazing. There were so many good ones that we had a really hard time picking which ones to put in our album. We got married at Fairbanks Ranch clubhouse in Rancho Santa Fe, and the images were so amazing that they put us on the cover of the Fairbanks Living Magazine, and did a write up on our wedding, including several of our wedding pictures.
Kristine made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera– even my camera shy husband! She also thought of everything, from timeline, to lighting. We highly recommend Kristine and can’t imagine our wedding memories without her and her images.

We found Kristine after reading all the glowing reviews on Unilocal,and could not be happier with our 3 months old son photos. They are very artful and captured our son just the way we had hoped. She was also glad to include the parents in the photoshoot too. Kristine came to our home with all the cute props and blankets. She is super sweet and very passionate in what she does, and managed to get a ton of beautiful photos in less than 2 hours. She made us feel very comfortable, fun to work with. She takes advantage of furniture/​décor/​props in your home so that the photos look natural and not like was done at a studio. Her work is amazing, her style is so clean and crisp but she also has a way of shooting that is different and unique so you don’t feel like your photos just like everyone else’s.
I recommend Kristine to everyone I come across. If you want someone who knows what they are doing, has an incredible personality and work ethic and will actually provide you with pictures you will love forever then call Kristine. I will forever use Kristine to be my first choice for every photo I need.

Kristine did an amazing job capturing our day perfectly! We hired Kristine for our engagement and wedding photos and she was awesome. Not only were the pictures beyond anything we could have expected, Kristine is just a wonderful person to work with. She was professional, easy to work with, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. The pictures she got of our wedding are unreal. We are reliving our wedding everyday through the photos. This review is overdue, but Kristine did a newborn photo session for our almost two week old son in July. She had great flexible packages and showed up with great props. She was excellent with our son and we got amazing photos from her. Definitely plan on using her again!

Kristine did our engagement pictures and will be shooting our wedding next April. It has been a pleasure to work with her. She explained everything thoroughly at our first meeting and sent us a helpful welcome packet after we signed our contract. The packet included recommendations for other vendors which helped us find our DJ! She checked in with me at every step, confirming that she got the contract then confirming the date/​time/​place of the engagement shoot. She made us feel comfortable and we had a lot of fun during the shoot. I felt like she got our vibe and didn’t ask us to do any poses that felt unnatural for us. She was happy to include our dog in our pictures, which was important to us, and she accommodated my request for a specific shot, even when it meant moving to a new location. Her turnaround time was so fast! We got our pictures within a couple weeks and were able to use one on our save the dates. She has made this process feel like a celebration for us, not like just another wedding. I’m very excited to have her as our wedding photographer and highly recommend her!

We hired Kristine as our wedding photographer, and we haven’t had our wedding yet but just off of our engagement shoot with her I can say with confidence that we found the best photographer for our occasion! Let me start by saying I was apprehensive about our engagement shoot and had more of a «let’s get this over with» attitude. She turned me around immediately! Her energy is contagious, and she made it so fun! In about 15 minutes she got me from feeling awkward and apprehensive to «let’s do this, I feel amazing!». Then we saw the photos and I was blown away! She brought out the best in us but we still looked totally natural. Her lighting tricks were fantastic, and her direction for us was perfect. We honestly felt like we were on a fun little date and just happened to be getting photographed.
Also, Kristine goes above and beyond to make every detail of her work look beautiful and professional. You won’t just get info with her pricing and contract, you’ll get a lovely little package with all kinds of tidbits and details! She won’t just post your photos on an online gallery; you might find you and your fantastic photos featured on her blog with a sweet story about you that she wrote based on your conversations with her! (BTW, this looks amazing on your wedding website, we’ve gotten so many great comments on what she did! It practically looks like we hired a PR group to cover our engagement!!)
In addition, Kristine has been in constant communication with us also, and always responds right away when I’ve had questions. She’s truly there for you to give you the best experience possible! She is priced very competitively as well. There are photographers out there for less money, however I don’t see how they could compete with the quality or integrity of Kristine’s work. We originally hoped to spend less on a photographer, but if I had to do it all again, I would spend MORE for her services and sacrifice something else in the budget! She’s a rare find, and if you get the chance to book her, DO IT before someone else does! You’ll be so glad you did!

After doing extensive research on a maternity photographer we chose Kristine due to her prompt responses to our inquiries, her good package rates and offerings, her great reviews, and how warm and courteous she was in our correspondence.
Leading up to the shoot she gave tips on what to wear, how to prepare, etc. We had a location in mind and she was more than happy to work there. She even suggested an additional location close by for variety.
On the day of the shoot Kristine was prompt and greeted us with a warm smile. She gave us great direction and made us feel extremely comfortable and me very beautiful (which can be hard considering that I was 7– months pregnant at the time). She took the time to get to know us and that really showed in our photos.
Our photos came out more amazing than we could ever imagine. Everyone who sees them is awestruck at Kristine’s artistic genius. She captured the love we have for each other and our unborn child perfectly.
We are so glad that we chose Kristine for our maternity photos and would highly recommend her.

My boyfriend and I decided we wanted to do something extra special to celebrate our first year together as a couple. We decided to immortalize this special event by getting professional photos taken. We couldn’t be happier after choosing Kristine Marie to be our photographer!
From the first email received, Kristine has been very professional, helpful, and friendly. Kristine is very quick to respond to emails. It is rare to find professionals who are as quick to reply. She answered all my questions and treated me with respect even though some of my questions may have been silly. I can tell she takes her work and clients very seriously.
Kristine is very creative and thought of things I wouldn’t have. She blends professionalism with friendliness. My boyfriend I had a lot of fun working with her! We felt completely comfortable to be ourselves in front of a camera. She is so skilled and completely captured the essence of our love in the photos! You can totally see it!
She is upfront with everything. Her pricing is very reasonable. She is honest and fair. She had our final product to us within two weeks of the photography shoot.
She made a blog entry about our photos and our story and it brought tears to my eyes. The entry was so sweet and perfect. When we received the final photos, we were extremely happy with how they turned out! It was so hard to pick which ones I wanted to keep!

I am SO happy I chose Kristine to be my photographer for my wedding. After seeing her previous wedding albums and meeting with her, my husband and I were sold. We hired Kristine to do our engagement and wedding photos. After doing our engagement photo shoot I knew she would take amazing wedding photos as well. I was very impressed with how Kristine had great visions for shots and would help us pose. Kristine made the shoot feel very comfortable and helped us feel at ease. Her photos came out beautiful, romantic and just naturally stunning.
Not only is Kristine a fabulous photographer, but she is incredibly organized. I was in constant contact with her before the wedding. She made sure she knew about everything that was going on and made timelines for the photos. I felt completely at ease knowing she was on top of things, there were no surprises.
The day of the wedding went flawlessly. I knew I did not need to worry about what was going on with the photos because she is experienced and she knew what to do. The day of the wedding I got compliments from most of my guests saying how much they liked Kristine. They liked all of her creative shots, dedication, and energy. My family and friends all were so pleased and impressed with the end results of our photos. My wedding photos are breathtaking and will be timeless. To this day when someone mentions my wedding they compliment the gorgeous photos. I am so glad we hired Kristine for our wedding. I would highly recommend her for anyone who wants to work with a professional, talented, and just lovely person.

I don’t even know what to say so far… I am pretty sure I am still in shock at how GREAT Kristine is at her job. Firstly, let me start by saying that I am EXTREMELY type A when it comes to planning my wedding. Like, when I was looking for a photographer I wrote down about 200 local names that I had either read about or saw on wedding blogs in my wedding planner and then individually one-​by-​one went to their websites to see if I liked their work. Kristine’s work completely pops! Jaw droppingly beautiful. Bright, light, airy… the look of film with the convenience of digital. Stunning.
I then emailed my top six photographers at that point and she responded within an hour. INSANE. Others I still have never, and probably will never, receive a response from. When you are a Kristine Marie bride looking for answers, rest assured that all of your questions will be answered lightening speed. She explained her style in a very professionally written email, included reviews if I’d like to cross check (maybe she already knows I’m a pyscho type A bride!!!) and attached a beautiful PDF file that highlights her packages. She ends by stating that If I would like to set up an in-​person meeting she is available early next week. Ahem, days later. This woman is ON POINT. We arrange for an appointment.
One day later I receive an email from her saying how excited she is to meet my fiancé and I and hear our story. SO sweet. She asks us to bring any and all questions that we may have — feel free to brainstorm and write them down so she can answer them all. WHAT?! (Now she definetely must know that I’m a crazy pyscho bride!!) In reality, she is a so amazingly empathic to brides (It’s stressful ya’ll!) and she truly wants you to have peace of mind when booking. This made me feel «normal» and not scared to ask the basics «do you have a business license?» dumb, yes, but the questions need to be asked. She isn’t scared of it, because she dot’s all of her i’s and crosses all of her t’s.
My fiancé and I meet with Kristine and she is so fun, bubbly, warm, down to earth (and did I mention crazy TALENTED!!) that we knew within 15 mins of our appointment that she was it. We talked in the car driving there that we would give each other a squeeze under the table if it was a yes, and about 10 mins in… my fiancé was sold. She answered all THIRTY SIX (!!) of my questions (Lol) showed us several weddings from start to finish, let us view her albums, and went over the booking and contract with us line by line. She had us laughing so hard that an hour and 20 mins flew by. We left the meeting and told her to email us with the contract asap! I was skipping to the car.
That night, she emailed us thanking us for the meeting and our time together. Genuine. Such a major plus when you are a bride looking to spend the day with vendors who are caring. The contract was there, details on where to send the retainer, and if there were any other questions please do not hesitate to email or call.
We sign right away, pop that stinking check in the mail, and the next day (!!!) Kristine emails me to let me know she received it and how honored she is we selected her to shoot our wedding. This made me tear up.
Two days later we get a small package in the mail that’s from her and includes our contract signed by her, a beautifully written personalized letter, and an entire «kit» for newly engaged couples — vendor recommendations, a voucher for makeup services when you take your engagement photos, tips and tricks on looking your best in photos, chocolates etc etc and the branding is amazing!!! I called my fiancé at work and all he said was «wow, best treatment. It’s like we’re VIPS!» If you are a KM Bride, she will make you feel that way.
We have not taken one photo with Kristine. We have not even booked our first session with her. What I can say is this… if you want a professional, and if you want a photographer that is looking out for you every step of the way, if you want someone who cares about her clients as if they were family, if you want someone who truly believes that customer service is key and that understands that brides are stressing about their photos, if you want someone that both you AND your fiancé can relate to and have fun with on your big day… Kristine Marie Photography is it.
I do not even need to see the photos before I write this review… I know they will be spectacular, because Kristine is top top notch.

This review is loooong overdue! Kristine was our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos and we cannot express how wonderful of an experience it was. She really has a passion for her work and her energy was infectious! My wife and I never had our pictures taken professionally and always thought it might be awkward, but Kristine has such a sunny personality that she instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera.
We love her use of natural lighting in her photos and it was the reason we initially contacted her, but it was her personality and professionalism that made us chose her to capture our big day! She is prompt with responding to our questions or concerns, which was extremely appreciated. When we were losing sleep worrying about other vendors and their slow responses we knew we could count on her. She is detail orientated and focused, always with a backup plan so you wouldn’t have to stress. She even helped us with our «day of» timeline and it turned out wonderfully!
As it turned out, some of the photos from our engagement session were selected for publication in a popular wedding blog and that just shows you how talented she is. We’ve already recommended her to several people and would love to work with her again for our future wedding anniversaries.

UPDATE: Kristine is simply amazing to work with and her professionalism is incredible! She is extremely detailed and there will be no doubt that she will deliver on the big day (unlike other vendors). She had my wedding photos edited and delivered within a few short weeks and I am in love with them! Kristine exceeds expectations in all that she does and I highly recommend her without reservation.

My experience with Kristine was above exceptional. She took my business headshots and they turned out absolutely amazing! Since we are both in the wedding industry, she immediately knew what I mean when I said I didn’t want the traditional business-​like head shot. We threw some ideas back and forth and nailed down a style and location that was perfect.
Kristine had a lot of great ideas for creative yet still professional photos that I could use to promote my business. We settled on Balboa Park. She new the area and efficiently worked to get the most out of the hour together. What I really loved about our session was that she listened to my ideas and incorporated them into her style of photography.
I don’t really like getting my picture taken and in looking at the proofs you could tell I was a little tense. However, as the session went on, Kristine’s fun yet professional personality really put me at ease and I actually had fun being a «model» for a short time! The pictures don’t lie, she nailed it!
