Food is good, but it’s time for them to get another register. After we got our meal for lunch, we wanted to get another side of their amazing macaroni and it took 15minutes with 2 other people in line because they kept taking phone orders and making the people in line wait.

Worst L and L ever. Filthy place I was afraid to sit down without a roach crawling on me. I waited way over 15 minutes for my food only to find out when I got home my food was cold and did not get my full order right. We were missing an item. Never will I come back to this place again. Bad service and food and place nothing good to say about this location. Bad cook, bad service, dirty eating area. Surprised this place is not rated F. My one star equals a negative star.

True authentic Hawaiian food, true to the native islands. You definitely get your money’s worth here. Huge portions that will leave you in a food coma. I found my new hungover food spot. This time around I was disappointed since I had to wait for my food for 25 mins, grated everything is made to order but there shouldn’t of been only one chef cooking at noon on a Sunday. Otherwise, everything was spot on delicious!

I got the chicken katsu bowl. The rice was soggy, mushy, and dense. Maybe that’s just how L&L serves their rice, but… ughhh. It was very unpleasant tasting. They hardly give you any veggies and the ones you get are way overcooked. The chicken katsu was very tasty and they give you a generous portion of it.

Um, yes! My family has been eating at L&L locations for years! This isn’t my favorite for it’s décor and space. It’s teeny weeny in a tight strip mall. But people rotate in an out fairly quickly, so you may get lucky with one of the eight or so tables they have available. Food is true to brand — with massive servings. Massive, people. Seriously, go for the mini, lest you want to be eating katsu and curry for three days. It’s a hefty amount for a single person — even if you’re on a CrossFit binge. And I love the musubi here. There are several different options. I went with Spam because, well, why not? Wonderful flavor there.

Went in at 11:30 a.m. and still they had no grill items all they could use was the fryer. When I ask them what time they opened the rude lady told me whenever they feel like, its Sunday. Don’t have hours posted on the door if you’re not going to stick to them. The only thing on your menu that’s fried is chicken katsu so I guess that’s what I would have had to get. Lazy workers and bad business I’ll just go to L&D next time. As time goes on L&L Hawaiian food gets worse and worse. I guess that’s why Homestyle Hawaiian in L&D have taken over.

Huge portions!!! They give you soooo much food for your money. Probably my 100th time here no lie lol. I seriously liveeeeee for authentic Hawaiian food. And I have never ever had a bad experience at any L&L whether it be on the islands or here on the mainland. Their kalua pig is everything!!! Great flavor. Super tender. Wonderful smokeyness. It is literally everything!!! Live pono, stay ono! SHAKASHAKASHAKA

Friendly staff. However, when I go for hawaiian food, I would like it to taste like local food. They offer breakfast but they don’t even open until 11. During my most recent visit, I ordered spam saimin to go. I only went to L&L bc I was too lazy to drive elsewhere. Yes, my fault. I guess my expectations were too high. The saimin from back home is prepared with small chopped spam and green onions. The one from L&L had full size sliced spam floating on top of ramen noodles. Never again.

Chicken Katsu is flame the sauces included is also bomb, never had any Katsu like it before however the Cheeseburger was poor. The patty was ridiculously small and it was drenched it ketchup & mustard. I wouldn’t be too upset if it wasn’t a $ 7 dollar burger.

The food is excellent. I’ve had the chicken katsu. It was hot, crispy, and the sauce was tangy good. The only reason I’m not giving them a higher score is the girl behind the counter was txting on her phone while I ordered and rang me up. She got a text mid order and responded as I was paying. It was incredibly rude.

The garlic shrimp was NOT what I expected at all. The whole platter just lacked flavor. Two Thumbs Down!

Will not be coming back. Unwelcoming environment, rude employee’s. Portions were less than DECENT size. SAUCE should be included with every order or musubis. Underappreciated and Underportioned.

If you don’t like L&L chances are you probably don’t like yourself. The food here is undeniably good.

Love this place! I used to come a lot when I lived in this area. Now that I moved back… I visited them and they didn’t disappoint. My favorite dish is the Chicken Katsu but the macaroni salad is the BEST!

The food is good. But I called three times to see if I can place my order, so by the time I get there It’ll be ready. But nope, no one answered..

Good portions given. I had the chicken katsu plate with rice and macaroni salad for about 8 bucks and some change. I could not finish the plate. It was really good though. The food took a few minutes to prep but considering the portions I can’t complain. Word to the wise they close down their grill at 8:45pm so they’re basically closed at 8:45pm. They have a sign on the front counter.

I always order SPAM Musubi on Mondays for 99 cents. Best deal for the money. I always call my order in and it’s ready when I arrive. Glad they open at 10:30 am so I can make it to work with lunch.

Never been to this one before but gotta say it was as pretty good, my wife’s plate was good mine was the BBQMIX& I loved it! It was fresh & the Mac salad was good. The service was good the girl was real nice. Now the cons, we found 2 chairs broken(not safe) it took a long time to get our order bout 20 min, but it was not the girls fault she was working hard but she was by herself, they should have someone help her. She was taking phone orders register orders & bagging up all the food, she was working hard. And I notice the cooks missed up a couple people’s orders but the girl was nice & fixed it. So check your food before leaving. And I recommend you call ahead of time to get your food faster. But as far as the food goes It was really good. I’d come back but I would call my order ahead of time.

I never knew this place was here! ALLTHISTIME!!! Why, oh why was I driving all the way to Chula Vista? Well…not anymore. I have found you and you are now mine. Chicken Katsu and BBQ Combo plate are my go-to. As always TOGO orders for us. I love it when I get my food to go and it is still warm when I get back to the office with it.
