Attorney Ilona Antonyan is a family law trial attorney. She is a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Specialization. She is fluent in Russian and Spanish.

Ms. Antonyan serves a Director on the San Diego County Bar Association Board of Directors. She also volunteers as a Temporary Judge for the San Diego Superior Court. She has been selected as the 2015 Rising Star by the Super Lawyers Magazine for demonstrating excellence in the practice of law. This honor is limited to no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state. In 2011 she was selected as one of the San Diego Top Young Attorneys by the San Diego Daily Transcript.

Ms. Ilona Antonyan and Ms. Katie Neill made an amazing team. My good friend hired Ms Antonyan to represent him in a case involving a restraining order filed by his ex-​wife. Since the hearing was about his ex-​wife wanting to renew a restraining order against him, it was a very difficult case. The chance of winning was very low, but Ms Antonyan and Ms Neill totally kicked ass in court and the judge ruled in favor of my friend. They did an amazing job doing all the prep work prior to appearing in court and preparing us for the types of questions that would be asked during the hearing. My friend has hired many lawyers in the past to represent him, but they can’t hold a candle to Ms. Antonyan and Ms. Katie ability and dedication. We joked that Ms. Antonyan was able to turn shit to gold. You will be in good hands when you have Ms. Antonyan and Ms. Neill representing you.

This is the best law firm in Southern California. I was drowning in a five year legal battle and losing badly. Finding Ilona was the best thing that could ever have happened to me. She went right to work and turned it all around. She is so smart and dedicated. She put a whole team together. Nagmeh started a detailed data base regarding all aspects of my case. They are my fairy god mothers. Kate personally came to my home to gather any remaining information and documents to make sure ALL information was incorporated into the data base they created. I got to spend the time thoroughly familiarizing one of my attorneys with every aspect of my case. That was brilliant. Ilona sends me detailed updates covering all the strategies she implements. Ilona is amazing and you’d be foolish not to hire her firm. I had two previous council/​firms try to handle my case. This was going on over 2 years before I hired Ilona. Once I secured her firm, they quickly cleaned up the previous lawyers mess and got my case back on track within several months. I appreciated all her and her team’s diligence and persistence in focusing on the goal to preserve and protect my assets and future. When it came time for the mandatory settlement conference, I did not know what to expect, but I was confident in Ilona’s preparation that we were in the best position going in. I got divorced last night, finally, and feel I received a very fair and equitable settlement.

I respect positive reviews. I guess I just wasn’t as lucky. Ilona will strike you as a smart and pleasant person to deal with. I strongly suspect that at the time of my divorce, Ilona simply bit into more cases than she could possibly chew. I experienced being asked the same question several times. I have corrected paperwork errors. Often times, I got the impression that my lawyer is simply not aware of the case. In my opinion, those are not excusable occurrences considering the cost! My ex and I ended up doing all the negotiations. We just used lawyers to do the paperwork. Still ended up with huge bills on our hands. I just wish I knew what I know now. I would have never hired Ilona and crew. Please beware!

Ilona Antonyan made the absolute best out of a difficult and complicated situation. Family law issues are not always as clear cut as one would hope. Ms. Antonyan was able to listen to my concerns and reacted immediately as the case progressed (which shifted as the EX became more oppositional as time progressed). Ms. Antonyan responded to my phone and/​or email messages promptly with definitive answers and a course of action.
