In 2011 I founded my own law office. Prior to this, I was an associate attorney with two well-​known litigation law firms.

Business Owner

An experienced civil litigator, Luis has expanded his focus to include a substantial criminal defense practice. A graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, Luis served as a law clerk with the Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General, and Notes Editor for the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal. Following completion of his studies, Luis joined a well-​known law firm in San Diego as an associate attorney where he represented public entities and insurance companies in litigation and settlement. Litigating and managing a broad array of cases, Luis handled complex matters involving high seven-​figure claims as well as wrongful death and survival actions. Motivated by a desire to help people, not insurance companies, in 2011 Luis established his own practice which includes both civil and criminal representation.
