Writing demand letters (habitability/​repair/​harassment issues), resolving disputes, defending evictions, stopping lockouts, restraining orders, mobilehome tenancy law and small claims preparation assistance are just a few of the tenant defense practice areas that I regularly engage in.

I charge affordable, flat rate fees.

Most issues can be resolved with a consultation and a demand letter or phone call to the landlord if necessary.

I offer night and weekend appointments, in office or by phone.

Business Owner

I have been practicing Tenant (Renter) Law since 2008.

I graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego. Prior to that, I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento.

I am committed to helping tenants in Southern California by providing effective, affordable legal services. I have received the Manuel E. Wiley Pro Bono Honors Award for providing free legal assistance to low income individuals through the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program.

Landlords always come from a position of greater power than the tenant. My job is to even the playing field, put the Tenant on the offensive, inform the Tenant of the various options they have and to take action.

I do not believe in charging by the hour. Virtually all of my services are on a flat fee basis which is communicated to the client up front.
