Jonathan D. Montag is a State Bar of California certified Immigration and Nationality Law Specialist. Mr. Montag has successfully argued cases before the District Court for the Southern District of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has testified numerous times in the District Court for the Southern District of California and before the State Bar Court as an expert in immigration law. He is a former chairman of the State of California Immigration and Nationality Law Advisory Commission of the Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Montag was named a 2005 Attorney of the Year by California Lawyer Magazine and has been named to the San Diego Super Lawyers list for immigration in 2007 – 2014 and a U.S. News and Best Lawyers best law firm in 2012 — 2014.

We retained Mr. Montag for a difficult green card case for my brother and his immigrated
Fiancé 15 years ago in 2001. Mr. Montag handled this difficult case successfully for my brother and his Fiancé to reunite, married, and received her green card shortly after.

Super Lawyer! We came to Mr. Montag for an adjustment of status case, with his help our case was smooth and fast. When I’m ready to apply naturalization I used his service again. I was worried about my application because I had some situations in the past. He answered and replied to all my questions very accurately and quickly. He assured me that everything was fine and I was safe to go with my application. He helped me with naturalization paperwork. We don’t mind driving 150 miles to meet him because his professionalism. He always updated my case and now I’m a U. S citizen!

I have hired different immigrations lawyers in the past and all of them was horrible at their job. Most of them will say YES to everything untill they get your money and they will comfort you. But once i was referred by a friend to Mr Montag. I noticed how the legitimate does lawyers do their job! Montag is very friendly and also super proffessiona at his job. His pricings are very fair and you can’t even compare it to other immigration lawyers. He has won some immigration case of my friends that were denied by Judge but he got them Granted. He is the best Lawyer in town! I am definitely referring him to all my friends amd family memmbers!
