Dedicated to the community, Michael is the President of the Rancho Coastal Humane Society Board of Directors and President of the Torrey Pines Municipal Golf Club.

Michael S. Berg handles a wide variety of criminal cases in state, federal, and juvenile courts.

Michael is a State Bar of California Certified Specialist in Criminal Law. His extensive experience over 35 years includes white collar crimes, drug crimes, money laundering and computer crimes, as well as over 37 homicide cases to date.

A graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law, Michael is also a member of NACDL, California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, and the San Diego Criminal Defense Bar Association.

Michael is very active in civic affairs and is the President of the Board of Directors for the Rancho Coastal Humane Society, serves on the advisory committee for San Diego’s Pro Kids Junior Golf, and is the President for the Torrey Pines

Municipal Golf Club.

I hired attorney Michael Berg for my attempted murder case, and let me tell you I don’t regret a thing! Not only is he fantastic at what he does, he’s honestly one of the humblest men I have ever met. His smile and energy is very contagious. I don’t know where I’d be if I didn’t find him. I can’t stress enough how much Michael Berg helped our dad with a legal case a few years ago. In late 2000, Michael Berg was highly recommended by a neighbor, who is also a prominent attorney in San Diego. Michael guided me through a potential felony charge; with his help, the DA agreed not to prosecute. Some 13 years later, when applying for Global Entry, the Customs and Border Protection officer claimed that the charge still appeared on my record, refused to approve my application, Michael helped address the issue.
